Bandon Dunes course not in the top 50. Incredibly biased rating or votes of a lot of cheap hackers.

I very much agree. Wife and I have played throughout the US and Canada. Some in Europe. How does not one of those four wonderful courses not make ANY list of Top Courses...Anywhere?

They didn't receive enough reviews in 2016 to qualify for the national list but they'll make the state list.

I must say that I was amazed by the number of courses that are actually affordable to play. Well done Golf Advisor.

Prior to the renovation of Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach, I would have said that was the best value golf course in California. But since they botched up their best holes (10, 11 and 12) during that renovation and suddenly jacked up their prices while getting very snooty (it costs $25 to use the driving range if you are not playing), I turned my attention to nearby Bayonet/Blackhorse at Ford Ord. I will tell anyone who will listen that those two courses are the best you can play anywhere for under $100 a round. That they are located on the Monterey Peninsula with views of the Pacific makes the value even more unbelievable.

I thoroughly enjoy the Pauite courses in Nevada that made the top 50.  I play them every time I go to Las Vegas.  However, there are ones I enjoy more.  Wolf Creek and Falcon Ridge in Mesquite, Nevada, are my top two courses I've ever played.  Reflection Bay and the two courses at the Revere Club are also excellent.
