Greens were dry and very fast. For being this early in spring, the course was in great shape. Always enjoy Lake Hills GC.

My least favorite in Billings
I played here today and was not impressed with the amount of sand they put down on the greens and tee boxes. The greens were nearly impossible to get any speed correctly on.
This course plays through houses from beginning to end, some areas it opens up a bit. The fairways are average width and the greens are medium to large in size and moderate in slope.
You will always see wildlife roaming the course and the practice facilities are very nice and very accessible.
This course just doesn't do it for me, that's why I play it once every couple of years. It's too bad because I live less than a mile away from it. For the money I'll drive to EagleRock to get a better experience.
Course is okay
For the money the greens are in mediocre shape. I walked it with my grandsons and we were surprised to find out that there's no drinking water available on the course. I've never experienced this before. With my experience with Billings courses this would one of my last choices.
fun course, great value
lake hills is in the best shape i have seen in early august. normally the MT sun has dried it out, but this year it's green and the greens are in nice shape. staff are always very friendly, and atmosphere around the clubhouse is very casual.
Great Experience
golfed 3 times at this course. For $18.00 18 hole and cart couldn't go wrong. No one before or after.. Had a great time...
Fun links style course
I enjoy this course nice moderate challenge. On hole 14 par three is longer than it looks and qatch out on hole five, it can get you.
GREAT VALUE GREAT STAFF AND FRIENDLY
GREAT PLACE TO PLAY AS GOOD AS MANY PALM SPRINGS COURSES WITHOUT THE HEAT GOOD EQUIPMENT,LOTS OF WATER.GOOD FLOW OF GOLFERS.NEVER HAVE TO ASK TO PLAY THROUGH.
Friendly course in great condition
Not too difficult, but some challenging holes, especially the back nine. Greens were overall in great shape.
Montana for Business
I was in Montana for business this summer and had the opportunity to play Lake Hills several times. It was a fun course and allowed me to work on my game. I am a low handicap golfer and found the course quite easy, but the practice facilities were nice, greens were in good shape and the pace of play was always good. Great course for the $$$$
