greens
overall the course is a good value. Short holes but besides the greens it is in good shape. Greens have crab grass scattered on them as well burn outs and what seems like a fungus problem. Enjoyed playing this course and have played it several times.
Good time but hard to find
I had a great time on this course. The greens were in great condition, and the back 9 was a real challenge for me. I had a hard time finding the course. The directions link from the golfnow application were not accurate, and I lost connection on my phone. A quick call to the clubhouse steered me in the right direction.
it was okay
Preordered a bucket of balls, and they were unavailable.
Tee box & greens are in good condition.
Fairways are lackluster, but the course plays short.
Carts are great, cart paths; not so much
Great place to practice, and for beginners
Nice layout
Very enjoyable golf course, reachable par-4's (I drove 4 greens), smooth putting surfaces and decent fairways. Range is in alright shape also
Nice course for the money
I booked a tee time through Golf Now, and feel that we got a great deal. The course is not that long; however, we got to hit the driver several times. I felt the greens were in great shape, and the fairways were managable. A few of the tee boxes were a little rough, but I found the overall experience a positive one. The staff was very friendly, and there was some pretty holes to play. We will surely play Wolf Creek again, and if you are able to hook up a Hot Deal like we did, you can't beat it for the money.
Wolf creek
Was ok for 10 bucks but no more.
The yardage is way off . I never knew how far I was .if it said 165 it would be 120 .
Greens are in good shape.
Average GC far far away
First of all, if you are not living in that area, no need to drive more than 30 mins to get there.
This GC is pretty poor maintained, cart is dirty, road is craking everywhere, riding is not fun at all. A few great view from the course, beside a bag of free range balls, nothing worth to play there.
In the GC, the direction sign and layout in the GC is confusing. Hole ONE is over a hill, then you have to drive over a broken bridge twice to play the next NINE holes.
Maybe I compare it with some other nice golf course in Greensboro area in this comment. But it takes me 40 mins to get there and what I saw is a small club house and a few drity carts, even not worth the little money I paid.
I will give this GC 3/5 stars, I will not play it again, and I would NOT recommend this GC to my friends!
Better than expected
I did not have high expectations for this fairly small country course but since it was close by and recently added to golfnow I thought I would give it a try. Tee boxes were good, fairways adequate on the front side better than average on the back. However the greens were in great shape throughout. Nice, soft and grown in greens helped good approach shots stay on. Tips for this course- the holes can be confusing. #1 is across the bridge and all the way up the hill. To get to #10 come back down the same hill and across the bridge again, 10 tees off behind the clubhouse. #13 is parallel to the driving range past #18.
