Bad attitude at 19th hole
Had a beer at end of round. Lady behind counter was very friendly to regulars but treated me very badly. Acted as I was putting her out and didn't bother to talk or say thanks.
Deluxe Version of Muni-Style Golf
Course winds thru mature oak forest which makes a pleasant park-like atmosphere. Typical older course that is mostly flat and walkable, though relatively few take to foot. Challenge here stems from some narrow and lengthy Par 4's and a collection of strategically placed trees throughout the course. Stray swings are penalized by snug tree-lined fairways that will quickly gobble up a shot, but are forgiving in that most balls are not lost on the forest floor that is relatively clear of brush. Nice touch by design I am sure. Greens average difficulty and not fast, nor slow. Weakness of the track represented by a blandish collection of Par 3's. Weekends tend to play at moderate pace. Price quite affordable. Facilities well-kept. Overall nice experience.
Too much Ground Under Repair
I know the weather has been less than optimal in NE Ohio but each and every hole at this course had significant areas of Ground Under Repair.
The check in staff were rude as well. Not sure why
MILL CREEK PARK
Very nice course! Fairways & greens were great! Pace of play was very good! Staff were very helpful & accommodating! Food very good! Will definitely play again! Thanks
Slow
Everything about this course is awesome except the pace of play was terrible. 4 hours and 40 minutes to play 18 holes on a Sunday. Have played this course before and enjoyed every other time. This time was not fun due to the amount of time between holes and swings of the club. To many tee times were taken
1928 quality course
This 1928 36 hole golf course has never been in better shape then it is right now..Other than a couple wet spots mostly in the ruff areas the fairways are super and the greens are the best greens I’ve have ever played on.The staff is super friendly and the resturant wonderful with great pricing and very good golf course food.
Challenging course. Small greens make for a hard second shot. The course will challenge you on accuracy. l
Majestic Millcreek Park Golf Course
I can not believe I have waited over 30 years to play Millcreek golf course. It really helped playing this North course with someone who lives a few blocks away. He looked like Patrick Reed and hit a couple 300 yard bombs like PR. The greens were in excellent shape. The two 18 hole courses (North and South) were designed by Donald Ross. The fairways were narrow, and cut like a professional golf course. I was amazed that the North Course was so clean after two recent high wind storms. It was one of the best early spring places I have ever golfed in Ohio. Thanks to all of the Millcreek golf employees who made my golf day such an enjoyable experience.
Course was eh. Wet, clumpy grass clippings.
See title. Course was fair to poor conditions. Didn’t have enough time for round, called ahead and was told I’d get a rain check for back nine. Once I was there told other wise. Course was not worth teven the hot deal price. Usually is a great course, was disappointed with it this time
Great shape
Course was in great shape and greens were fantastic. Pace of play got slowed down towards end of round. Besides that great day
Nice Course/Played the North
Got a deal by using my points so the round was very reasonable. This course is also 60+ min from my house. My buddy and I will drive an hour to play a different course at a good price. The course was very well maintained and the greens had been aerated a couple of weeks before we played and they were the nicest greens we had played on all year. Some leaves as it is getting late in the year. Lost 1 ball on the first hole and that was it.
Saturday group
My pals and I have played Mill Creek for 25 years now and Saturday the greens were in the best shape we have seen in years. Traps need a little work but overall it is in good shape. Tight layout with a lot of sand.
