Good Value
Good value and uncrowded. A number of holes require layups off the tee. Greens are good, but hard to read the speed. Best part is the chili dogs, but no chili the day I played here. Maybe next time.
Good course in the fall
No leaves fast play good value greens where very true ,speed medium it has nice holes ,you have to think we're to place the ball
Nice experience
First time to play here and it was a good experience. Greens were nice considering the lack of rain we have had. Nice people working there.
A great place to visit as you on the road.
I totally enjoyed the layout and the challenge of this course. Would definitely recommend and look forward to next opportunity to play here.
Excellent staff
the staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure my round was excellent. The interior clubhouse was warm and inviting with a cozy charm. Was not happy with the flow of play since there were a group ahead of us playing a six some. It was very irritating and they never offered to let the two of us play through. In my opinion there should never be more than a group of 4 playing. The course was in nice condition and the trees were somewhat of a challenge.
Deer Creek
I had higher expectations for this course because the other reviews had it pegged as "Excellent Course Conditions." Excellent they are not, but they are in no way bad. The greens were average speed and rolled pretty well. The fairways were decent, but do have some wet spots and some other places that were under repair. The rough was like most of the rough in the area and a little inconsistent, but the lies you get aren't bad. Half of the holes had some character and the other half were a little blah, but this place is definitely worth the low price. It is a feel good course. It is quite easy and has a number of birdie holes. The thing that amused me was they had 30 or 40 carts and they were all different. Most were ancient and dirty. Half of which had knobby tires designed more for mud than a golf course. Mine made a high pitched, keening sound the whole time and moved at the pace of those carts at the grocery store.
course wss in great
18 holes and a cart for 12 bucks and the joint was in great shape. Don't know what regular price is. I do know that the golf now app is awesome.
Great for the $$
Nice track, not great, but far from a rag course. Greens are nice and the fairways are fair. Course is a little short, but has a few challenging holes. For the price, you couldn't beat it!
Sneior citizen haven
Play can be slow due to player levels of ability and sometimes their age. Par 5 holes do not try to reach in two you will be spanked for trying to do so. Hole number 13 is a tuff par three, difficult to keep ball on the green from the tee. Hole number four heavily wooded dog left that requires a high tee shot to land softly in the fairway or else roll through the fairway into trouble. Leave the driver in the bag on this one. Played 18 shot 79.
ok...not....great
Course was in very good condition. Greens were fast and smooth. Did not like how many blind shots there are (like every hole). One group was holding up play...no ranger in sight. Will be going up the street to pine lakes from now on...
PLAY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT
I play with a traveling group and this course was in better condition than many other course that cost a lot more to play. If you so desired you could play the ball down on both the fairways and in the rough. The greens are big, fast and smooth. There are not a lot of amenities it is just a family owned course thats great to play. The front none requires shot placement the back is bombers paridise. PLAY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Excellent course
The course is kept in great condition. The staff is very friendly and the rates are very reasonable. The clubhouse has non alcoholic drinks and a few simple food items... I highly recommend this course to all level golfers.
