Nice course- slow on the Weekends
Nice course. Greens are great! Pro shop staff were great. They let 5 somes on the weekends. It took us 5 course to play. No Marshall pushing people along. We had to wait on every hole and every shot.
Great course
Great course. Fairways and greens are fantastic, bunkers not so much... tree lined fairways, big greens , and a nice driving range. Would highly recommend this course and the price is great for the course... in Dallas this course would cost double to play . Go enjoy. The only bad was pace of play. Took 4 hours . No Marshall that we saw telling golfers to speed up.
Fun to play, easy to score.
I work at The Territory Golf & Country Club in Duncan, and we went and played Fort Sill this week while our greens were being aerated. It was casual and fun and we had a great time. Super friendly staff and reasonable bev’s and snacks. Note, if you want to warm up before you play, go early. You need to go to the visitor center first to get a pass before being allowed to go to the course since it’s on base.
Online booking
While traveling Ft Sill was right on the way and looked good. We booked a tee time for 3 golfers. When we arrived, the nice young lady informed us there were no tee times available. I told her we booked online. She said she did not know how to access or check online tee times. Claiming our tee time had most likely been given away. We did not get the 18 holes we were wanting. To her credit She was able to squeeze us in on the back 9 making the best of it. She went above and beyond to make it right. Thank You.
Fort Sill GC
The staff was easy to talk to and get along with while also knowledgeable with the ins and outs throughout the course.
Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition, the greens had some issues. A lot of random holes and some weeds but nothing to over examine. The greens were also incredibly fast so it was challenging to find the right tempo of a putt.
The range overall was in great condition.
Course overall goo!
We spent too much time looking for our balls that were buried in the grass both on fairways and rough
Excellent military course.
Tough to get an early tee time but did mid day. We got right on and played at a standard pace...good not to be rushed. Sand traps were a little rough and did not look maintained well. Transition to the 13th tee box was cumbersome. Overall the course was in excellent condition, good price, and a good challenge. Would definitely recommend this course.

Gem
This course is in best shape weighing a mile radius. Sometimes it takes time to get a pass to enter the military installation but it’s worth it. Pace of play can get a bit slow but most let you play thru, sometimes you have to ask. The course is short but theirs plenty of opportunities to get yourself in trouble. I recommend this course.
Rude customers
Fort Sill golf course is one of the best i have played, nice driving range, nice course very well maintained. On the most part the staff is very friendly. I have encountered very rude players. Today i and my son waa finishing up on the 18th hole, we had just putted in. And just started to turn toward our push carts and another player yelled at us to get off the green. Was very rude. I waited and confronted him when he was done, he said he was not yelling at us to get off the green but at my son for having his push cart on the green. I did not notice he had it on the green, but he did not yell please move the push cart off the green. he yelled, "get off the green". Told me the person with him was a employee of the course, like that made it ok to be rude, in my mind that made it worse. Not the first time i have had problems with rudeness at Fort sill,
As good as they come in southern Oklahoma
This course has everything you want in a course. Well groomed, good layout, well maintained, great value, etc, etc. Our senior tour plays it a couple of times a year. The only time it wasn't in great condition was after a bad storm had moved through the area a few days before but it was still playable. Very well worth your time and effort to get there.
