Cash Register Management
5 stars for the staff. Front desk to restaurant. Been a member for 6 years. I’ve met some of the greatest people there! Over the last two, the management cares about one thing only, the cash register. The golf experience doesn’t matter. Pace of play doesn’t matter. Tee times to close together, doesn’t matter. Some guy with 3 kids playing mini golf in the fairways while we have 5 groups waiting on the tee box, they simply don’t care. In fact, there is no one to tell in management that even cares. Never see them. And when you find someone, they say there is nothing that can be done. That’s not management, that’s the cash register talking. So everyone else that paid their money to enjoy a round of golf has to pay the penalty for one guy and three kids. We waited twenty five minutes on two tee boxes in a row and stopped the round. To make matters worse, it’s the second day in a row we quit early cause four drunk guys held everything up on Friday afternoon. I’m sorry but shame on me because I guess I get what I paid for. A great looking course (seriously well maintained) with zero management skills. Literally no one to tell that would care.

Noce course
Played a great round on this nice course. Enjoyed the open layout and beautiful conditions.
Hilly!!
90 degree day and NO water on course!! Restaurant wasn’t open and had signs posted “No COOLERS ALLOWED ON COURSE!! Get real!!
interesting layout ith a moderate drgree of difficulty
It a very hot when e played and it should be noted there is no beverage cart and no liquid located on the course.Play very light that day and the group caught up to left our group play through. I would play again but in no hurry to go back. It would have to be a great price.
No drinking water available
The course was in good shape. It was a very hot day and we got very thirsty while playing. We disovered that there is no drinking water provided anywhere on the course and no water fountain in the clubhouse either. We would have enjoyed the round more had there been water available.
Been Awhile
Haven’t played at Valley Green in years and found the course to be in great shape and play was quick. We finished our round in just over 4 hours. We will be back for sure!
Great value for a nice country course
The staff was extremely friendly both the pro shop and bar. Only reason for the 4 star is the cart path is in need of some serious repairs. Overall the course was in very good shape. And the grilled hotdogs where a very nice touch.
Nice course, Good Conditions
First time playing this course. The greens and fairways were in good shape. The course has a nice layout with several up and downhill fairways. It's a good value for the money. I would recommend this course.
Nice to get out
Played for $10. Well worth the $. Wouldn’t pay the actual price they charge. Guy at the counter wasn’t friendly at all. Course looked good. Greens were nice. The retired guys definitely took there time.
Wish I lived closer
I would, and probably will, happily play this course on a regular basis. I had fun. The greens are well kept, except I had to fill in someone’s divot who had forgotten to ahead of me. A good mix of par 5s, 4s, and 3s. Some sand traps, steep hills, and dog legs that force you to play it smart and some holes where you can just grip it and rip it — my preference now that my drives are between 275 and 340 thanks to the new driver I bought — but it’s a good course to practice an all around game. As they say, the greens rolled true and at a good speed. There’s a decent chance you’ll have to pull out all of your clubs at least once. The fairways are in great condition also. I saw a sign for tournaments that they host, so I imagine that’s part of the reason they take such good care of it. Golfers ahead of me and behind me were great to chat with and pace of play was pretty good. Staff was very friendly when I arrived and they have a nice bar and some event space. I’ll be back soon. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow.
Fun, But Ragged Around The Edges
The tees are probably the only truly level ground you'll encounter on the first nine. Almost everything else slopes -- a little or a lot. The back nine, not as much.
The greens are the crown jewels of this course. Small, sloped, and sometimes bilevel, they rolled putts beautifully. Chips and pitches were predictable, and approach shots that came in at a high angle held the green. I noted almost no ball marks or scuffs.
Carts are gas powered, and the've been around the course more than a few times. Mine was fairly clean and very serviceable. No complaints.
It's easy to find your way around the course. Signage is more than adequate. Asphalt cart paths exist on all the holes, but they are old and bumpy.
I only remember two "water holes", #1 and #18, and the water only came into play on #18. Fairway and green side bunkers are present on a few holes, but not many. I luckily avoided them today; so, I can't report on the quality of the sand. The ones I noted all seemed to be well raked.
Pace of play could be a problem. I had a fast first nine; no one ahead of or behind me until I caught up to a threesome on #9. The back nine had waits at every tee with10 minute waits at the tee on #16 thru #18.
rolling hills
course played tough. was a windy day.its a fun course. some tight fairways but overall very nice course. very friendly
