Scenic views and great greens
May be biased being from DC where the course fee minimum is $61 for a horrid course but Blue Mountain was a fantastic course and great value at $50 on weekend. 10/10 would play again. Easy green layouts with minimal to no bunkers makes it extremely easy to get GIR on any hole.
Good shape
Even with all the rain the course was very playable
Hidden gem
I really enjoyed my round! Not the toughest or longest course, but not overly easy either. A bunch of short par fours, but the 570 yard par five with a sharp dogleg and tree line on both sides. Several holes over water, a few par threes on the longer side. I definitely enjoyed this place
Greens
If I'm not mistaken every part 3 hole All Greens were pitted all up definitely not hitting the ball straight
11-17 Greens look like craters on the moon!
I know it’s been a tough stretch with no water and higher temps but the greens are horrendous on the back nine except for 10,16 18. At this point they would be more putter friendly if you aerate the bad ones and level with sand. Other than that the staff was great and the pace of play was good.
Nice old house in need of $ and TLC
I would not say don't play here. The greens were lush and rolled true. One or 2 had issues with black mold, but that's not uncommon.
Tee boxes were a mess. Fairways were slightly lower mown than the rough.
Great round
I enjoy Blue Mountain. The course set-up balances easier driving holes with challenging sloping greens that test strategy and putting skills. I had one of the best rounds of my life-because I was able to chip and putt well.
Disappointed
A few greens were almost unputtable...and. 4 hour round of golf not good!

Fun course with challenging greens
I always enjoy playing this course. It is a great value for the price. It is usually well taken care of. Highly recommend playing here if you never have.

Blue Mountain Fredericksburg, Pa
1. Course conditions-tee boxes littered with tees, many with sand spots and uneven surfaces
2. Staff was friendly, however, no starter or course info given
3. Price was average with other courses in the area
4. Easy to follow paths, many were concrete and signs were well kept
5. Restrooms were not clean. Bar was meager. Pro shop was very meager
The course itself (outside of a handful of the uneven tee boxes) was well kept. Nice fairways, well cut roughs, and fairly consistent greens. With all of the choices in the area, I may not return on my own, but would definitely return for a tournament or otherwise

Thus course has survived the times and continues to improve.
Excellent course in excellent condition. The owners and working staff should all be commended as this course never disappoints. A++++++ facility!!
