Cold but nice day of golf
I've played this course a few times before. Generally, the course is fun to play but there are few holes that I just don't like the layout. But that's just me. The conditions were good for this time of year, but the weather was a bit cool. I would still recommend the course and the GolfNow price was good.
Good Value
Course is coming along from Long rough winter months. I hope it will be Quite recovered by End of April /beginning of May .
Good but tough, course lots of elevation changes.
Liked the course was tough to play at first with the elevation changes but gradually got better towards the end of the round.
Course was in very good condition for the time of year and weather. The Staff is excellent, particularly in the Pro Shop, very friendly and accommodating.
Pleasantly Surprised!!!
From the pro shop to the course I was very pleased with the course so much I played it 2 days in a row! I’m limited to where I can play due to it being winter golf but boy am I glad I took the drive. not quite sure what it’ll be like when you’re in season, but I can tell you you gotta play golf there so a beginner might struggle a little bit even though it’s a shorter course because of the forced carries but nevertheless pro shop was tremendously friendly and when you have a course to yourself, it’s pretty amazing to keep a rhythm. Overall, if you want to use a bunch of clubs in your bag and not have to be a big hitter, this course should be on your list.
Very friendly staff
Course was in nice shape for winter golf.
I look forward to playing there under normal conditions. Golf course staff were very accommodating, as well as the restaurant and bar staff. 10% off food if you just played a round, not that you need additional incentive to play here.
It’s Winter..
Over $70 to play was ridiculous. I played this course plenty of times before and I do enjoy playing there. But cmon, $70 to play in the middle of the winter is absurd. When I booked the tee time it was around $60 to play and then up to $70. You cant be charging people that kind of money when the course isn’t even in great shape. I get that people want to get out and play 18 cause it’s been a long winter but charge accordingly how the course is in its current state. We would have been happy if it was around $50 for the state the course was in. Sand traps were water hazards today and some of the holes were filled with ice. I’m sure I wasn’t the only out there thinking the same thing.
Golf Etiquette.
Everything was fine except one thing. I started behind a couple (man and woman) that played extremely slow. When I teed off on hole 1, they were nowhere in sight. I caught up by hole 3 and waited for 10 minutes plus on each subsequent hole before I could tee off. On one hole I watched the couple spend over 10 minutes searching for their balls. I finally skipped a hole and played on. The couple could have let me play through. Lack of proper golf etiquette.
Spring Hollow - Not bad, not great, plenty of potenial
Pros:
1)Reasonably Priced
2)Great Playing Partner
3)Maintained Greens
Cons:
1)Even with a ranger, start times were all over the place and pace of play was horrible for a Wednesday afternoon.
2)Layout could be better as there are alot of blind shots and danger areas coming from opposite team boxes.
Perfect
Debbie, Sean, Jason, and the entire team were wonderful to work with. This was our first LEO Only Golf Tournament there and we will be returning next year on Oct. 6th.
I cannot say how perfect and accomodating everyone was and it was clear they know customer service.
My golfers were very happy with everything and can’t wait to go back.
Blessings,

Dry conditions made for wild results
Aeration was done 3 weeks ago so greens nearly fully healed. Lack of rain has obviously slowed their recovery. Lack of rain also meant some parts of the course were so dry that they caused balls to roll twice as far as they should have. Sounds great in the fairway, but not so much when your ball rolls sideways and a ball that hit the fairway ends up rolling out of bounds 40+ yards left of the fairway. But course layout is quirky enough to be fun to play with all the elevation changes. Pray for rain.
Good value
Decent course, good layout, pace of play very good for a Sunday, alot of elevations, and greens are pretty difficult. Good location for me , and worth the price. Would definitely return.
Always good
Love playing here. We were first out and had a fast round. Staff is friendly and helpful!!
