Short but tricky course
I've played McCall several times. Don't have to hit the driver at all if you don't want to, but you can hit it on all Par 4's if you want to take the risk. Some great holes - tough par 3's like #2 (190 and well bunkered), and #4 (230 with a creek, bunkers, and severe sloping) and few fun par 4's like #13 and #15 (which are drivable with hazards all around). They have a few boring and repeated holes but all in all a great fun course that you can zip around on. It should not take more than 3 hours to play a round here.
Greens are fun and roll true. Course is usually in solid shape.
A Little Gem!!
At 4469 yds, par 66, McCall would seem to be a pushover, but not! A Donald Ross gem with every hole a different challenge - doglegs, bunkers, small tricky greens - you will use every club in the bag. In excellent condition always! Nice course for seniors since you can hit some short irons here. Par 3 #4 at 230 yds across a creek from an elevated tee is one of the toughest and prettiest holes in the area. It's a private course, but takes Victory golf passes on Thu.
Wonderful
Its a short 18 hole course with no par 5's but if you ever play here i can promise it will be worth your money, it is short but very challenging par 66 course. Very well kept
