Heritage Hills Golf Resort

About
Heritage Hills Golf Course plays across the lush, rolling hillsides that York County is known for. The course has a classic design with some tough holes that will test even seasoned players. The layout also offers plenty of risk-reward opportunities that encourage you to carefully think about your strategy on each hole. The greens are large and undulating and the fairways are expertly manicured. Golfers will have to contend with the hilly terrain, particularly on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th holes, which have the most dramatic elevation changes. Native vegetation accents the landscape and there are also interesting water features that come into play throughout. Heritage Hills Golf Course's pretty landscape provides some beautiful scenery to go along with your round, especially during the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

The course isn’t being maintained. Example: the bunkers obviously haven’t been raked in awhile and have leaves piled up in a lot of them. No attempt to blow leaves off the greens. The course is focused on converting the driving range area into winter activities. All of this would be fine if they charged based on the condition of the course.
Hickory Heights
Like the course but this the second time that I have run into slow pace of play.
Awesome
Being the first time playing this course my wife and I found it challenging and fun to play. All though the course won this time we will definitely be back to play this course again absolutely. Thank you to all the staff for being both professional and very friendly.
Beautiful course, well maintained
Unfortunately I played the day they were having their club championship so pace of play was poor. We were also delayed 20 minutes teeing off. Other than that it was great. I liked the simulators at all the stalls on the range.
This course is in great shape
The course is well taken care of. I really enjoy playing here.
Great experience again!
Aside from the fact that you can't check in since the pro-shop is closed at the time we Tee'd off, everything was great. Marshall was confused to see us at the turn since we were supposed to start on 10 instead of 1 but the cart crew was not aware and told us to just go. Completed our round in just under 3hrs... Loved it.
Good price for golf
Great value for golfing, food costs definitely made up for it. $15 burger on the turn was a bit high. Course is in great shape and plays well. Had some hold up on a group in front but not the courses issue.
Heritage Hills
I love playing here, but it’s the same old thing every year. There’s not enough sand in the bunkers and the cart paths are like war torn streets from WW2. They just sunk a ton of money into the driving range, but the course could’ve really used some upgrades. Hopefully in the future they’ll improve the bunkers and remove the cart paths altogether.
Winter is different than in season
No range in the winter to warm up on and no tee box markers can make it a pain for playing but for the time of year the course was in excellent condition and pace of play was on point.
2nd time just as good as the first
I've played Heritage Hills twice - both Hot Deals through Golf Now. It's early in the season and the driving range was coated in man-made snow - I guess they will have tubing there for a couple more weekends. Unfortunately, the putting green was also fenced off - I was looking forward to putting for about 30 minutes before my round started and I got there early. Went rogue and did some wedge work near the tubing runs - not sure the staff would have been happy about that, but I played dumb and was able to warm up. Course was in remarkably good condition for early February, and it did look like a few of the greens had actually been cut recently. Greens were receptive and rolled very well. Sand traps need some attention, but like I said, it's really early. Love the layout - the parallel par 3's (12 and 15) are among my favorite holes there. Played well there despite only having a couple rounds in the books in 2024. Tee markers were not in place, but I think I had a pretty good test of golf where we elected to play each hole from.
