I need revenge! And I plan on getting it. Place is absolutely beautiful. Definitely target golf, not grip and rip. Loved the place overall.
Loved it!
Found the tee time on Golf Now and jumped at it, as they have been limiting public tee times this season. I was thoroughly impressed with PCC. The layout requires precision off the tee, and you’ll have several mid-long irons into the greens. The greens were firm, and rolled true. Staff was helpful, especially the young man working the bag room. If you have the chance to play here, I would recommend that you take advantage.
Fantastic shape and course
PCC is a gem. Greens rolled awesome, fairways and the entire course is beautiful. Staff has done a great job.
Finished in under 4 hours.
Great staff and a fun course to play!
Pawtucket CC
Great golf experience. Loved it!! Definitely be back.
Great course and conditions
The whole course was in fantastic condition.
Greens were firm and beautiful. Rolled great.
Great location.
Pawtucket CC
Great old school course. Long tight fairways with fast undulating greens. Highly recommended
A Rhode Island Gem
Getting around this 6200-yd. course in only 69 strokes is no small task, and PCC has plenty of teeth for a sub-70 track. I found many of the holes here to be quite interesting and challenging. I would definitely play it again!
Great shape
Excellent conditioned golf course...and, doing a great job at managing all the falling leaves.
Front 9 better golf routing and architecture. However, green complexes on back 9 are fantastic.
Fantastic layout...
The course was in great shape. Greens rolled quick and true. Par 4's have a lot of teeth in them. Great value for this track. Best maintained course in the area including Wannamoissett!
Great Course
The course is in great shape. Greens rolled very nice, fairways and rough well maintained. The staff in the clubhouse did not seem too welcoming and maybe this is because you are an “outsider”. Maybe they should consider slightly better hospitality as you never know who a future member may be. Overall the golf course is in A+ shape
Excellent track
The golf course is in outstanding condition. Excellent greens. Very challenging. Accuracy of the Tee a must
Beautiful course!
The course was is in exceptional shape. Well manicured greens as was the rest of the course. The course was fairly quite at 2:30 and pace of play was right on point.
Beautiful course to play
I am shopping for a club and have played at several private ones nearby. I have to say, Pawtucket is truly a piece of jewel. The course condition is great, staffs are warm, and the pace of paly is very reasonable.
Pawtucket CC is much, much better than Agwam Hunt which is also on Golfnow at higher price. No doubt that the cost on Golfnow for Pawtucket CC will go up. Grab it when you can!
There are not many hazards, but the course is fairly long for ladies at Par 73.
I am pretty much sure that this is the club I will join next year.
Interesting
Finding the PRO shop was interesting with no frontal signage, but guess members already know where it is, staff was super helpful explaining no formal tee times, and he was just waiting for the rest of the booking...turns out we invited a member to join us and it turned out to be the worst decision of the day..with him lecturing us as we are going to the first tee about how intensely he dislikes Golf Now folks on the course. It was soon followed, by him, in his own cart, racing ahead, to catch up to an Golf Now foursome just ahead of us, to tell them, he is invoking member privileges and wanted them to wait for us to play through...they did...after he scored an 8+...he would race ahead, practice putting and almost walked into a shot from one of us on my cart...thankfully, he left after 7 holes to play a 4 ball tournament(that was due to be rained out with the days forecast)...the course itself has a few quirks with its placement of tee boxes...but the most interesting was coming around and teeing off, and seeing a member hitting practice shots into our fairway...then upon our return, saw him picking up the balls...and of course driving across the 18th fairway to get to the turn, made it an interesting day...course is wide open and hard to a lose a ball, unless a member picks up your ball from the opposite fairway...the undertone of membership is just something to be alert to, not convicting all for one, but it just is...an alert...fwiw...would play there again...maybe
