Horrible Greens
These had to be the worst greens I've ever played. Overall a decent course but 5 or 6 greens had no grass and the rest of the greens all had varying degrees of bad areas. I'm playing in a tournament there in a month and hope it's much much better.
Great layout and very helpful staff
Great course! First time playing and golf pro walked me outside and gave me some directions to both first tee and back nine. Really fun course to play! Only downside was greens were bare due to fungus. Staff said they will likely have to replace the greens but everything else was in great shape.
Great Course and Terrific Staff
Played the course for the first time. The gentleman that checked us in ( I think his name with Matt) was terrific! He went above and beyond to orientate us to the course since it was our first time playing there. The course was challenging and well maintained. He even went out of his way took to greet us when we were finished. We will absolutely will be back and will spread the word.
Excellent course
Drove 40 minutes to play this course and it was well worth the drive. Course was very challenging and in great shape
First time - likely to go again
The lady at the counter was horrible - didn't say Hello, looked at my booking sheet and simply slid a cart key to me as if I were a red-haired stepchild. One of the members was an absolute ambassador for the course. Played on a Wednesday as a single with rapid play. Course was in good shape. Greens are typical "old CC" small. Fast, ball held, rolled true. Will return.
Hartsville CC
Played Hartsville CC for the first time in many years.
It was a very hot day but the course was in really good shape considering that the temps were running 100+ degrees. We played the back tees so the course was a little more challenging, especially since the greens were hard and not as receptive due to the high temperatures.The staff was extremely courteous and professional. The pace of play was really good. This course sets up well for golfers of all abilities. All in in it was a great day of golf and I would highly recommend playing this course.

This course is in good shape considering the time of year. Another month and it will be in great shape. Thank you for the pace of play and the kindness and professional manner of the staff.

This course was very good. Not too difficult for a beginner like me but challenging for sure
