Trash. Save your money
Rude staff, trash course. This place thinks they’re highbrow, and It’s laughable. What a joke. I feel bad for the kids workin there. The older staff we encountered are miserable. I’ve dealt with that before at private clubs via invite, but never a beater golf course.
Fairways were in pretty good shape , 3 greens were in pretty rough shape very sandy with small rocks in the sand ,the rest of the greens were in really good condition but very slow rolling ,hard to get the ball to the hole
Great for the dollar.
Fun course for a nine hole track. In better shape than the state park for half the money.
Great Customer Service
Very nice staff and great value for the money!
Nice Course
Green were fair to good.
Course layout was good and made it interesting to play
First time and course was easy but a nice visit.
Lakeside review
The course is in pretty good shape--all but the greens and tee boxes. They are terrible and need attention, as do some of the tee boxes. A suggestIon would be to bring a hammer to set the tee on some of the tee boxes. I know we've not had much rain, but watering the greens and tee boxes would help. Some of the tee boxes need to be leveled also.

Nice course, friendly staff. Will being playing again next week. Plays other courses around Knoxville. This is nicer course.
Greens
Greens in horrible condition
Several have only spotty grass
Lake side but no Driving Range
No bunkers on the course, short , easy . good for a beginner but no driving range
This is a very nice 9 hole course and fun to play.
This is a great little course. I will be back and bring all my friends with me. This was the first time I laid eyes on this course. It was in very good condition. Very courteous staff and very friendly.
Unfortunate day of golf
I really can't say much about the course, the layout, difficulty, etc.... I only got to play two holes before I decided it was fruitless to play behind two teenage boys walking the course. I decided to pack up and go to another local course where I can always get a tee time and the pace of play doesn't require a quick shave before you start the back nine. I was at the tee box at my designated tee time, playing as a single, but two youngsters got in front of me. It took 55 minutes to play the first two holes, a short par 4 and a par 3. I engaged the youngsters in conversation at the tee boxes and it never occurred to them it might be appropriate to allow me to play through. Nor did the staff intervene to speed things along though the tee box is a few steps outside the clubhouse in full view. In order not to disrupt anyone's day I decided it was prudent to just forfeit the green fee and quietly be on my way. I would hope this was an unusual circumstance, but I did see as I was heading back in groups bunched up at several tee boxes. A course ranger would be a tremendous help.
Great 9 hole course
This is a great little 9 hole course.the condition was very good after a few days of rain. i will visit again.
Worth the trip to Knoxille!
Pleasant round, especially for the beginner to novice novice golfer. I enjoyed the openness of the course. It has enough trees and water to cause issues, even though it has no sand traps. I kind of liked playing the same nine twice,
The only slight negative was the softness and slow speed of the greens. This was no doubt made worse by recent heavy rains. I would like to play it with drier conditions to see if changes much.
The staff was vey nice and Lakeside was easily worth the trip from Knoxville with the special deal I received on GolfNow. I will go back.
Good putting greens
I thought the greens were easy to putt on. A few worn spots on the course but that goes with most courses this time of year.
Lakeside Golf Course Kingston TN (9 hole)
This is a great course. Had a lot of fun and would go back anytime. No bunkers and not much water. 8th hole is a dogleg right over the lake. The 9th hole is elevated.
Mr. White
The tee markers were thrown to the side of most all tee boxes. Hard to know where to play from. Very few distance markers for club selection. But we did have a fun time thanks
