Lost Creek Golf Club is located on the southwestern edge of Fort Worth and labels itself “the best golf value in Fort Worth.” The golf course, designed by Leon Howard in 1971, has changed ownership too many times to count and is now a public course. Howard’s design utilizes elevated tees and a tree-lined creek to add character to the course.
While there are two long par 4s, most holes play in the mid-300-yard range, making it a relatively short layout at only 6,388 yards. Holes of note are the 433-yard 13th, featuring a creek that crosses in front of the tee and pinches the fairway along the left side, and the difficult No. 18, where the creek cuts across the fairway twice, making it a long 526-yard hole.
The best tip for approach shots is to keep the ball below the hole, as most of the greens slope from back to front.

Will never play this course again
Greens were terrible! Fairways were terrible! Trees needed trimmed and limbs all over the course. Owner was rude! Only played this course because of the cheap price and they should have paid me for wasting my Sunday on this poor course.
Course needs reconsidering
The greens were in bad shape. Bumpy, awkward rolling and bare spots. The back nine was better to save me giving it 1's overall.

Sad shape in desperate need of an overhaul.
I really wanted to like this course, but this course has seen it's better days. The clubhouse looked like it came straight out of the movie Caddy shack, and could use a significant remodel. If your interested in playing combat golf, this course is for you. It should be renamed "Lost Club" because this course hasn't been updated since the 80's.
The course layout is great.
The only downside to this course are the greens, they have a major crabgrass problem. When they get that under control this course will be perfect. The price is very reasonable.

Don't waste your money
There was more duck grass on the greens than bermuda. I've putted on temporary greens that rolled better than these greens. Just awful. Would have asked for a refund and not played if I thought I could get my money back. Foursome in front of us quit after 9 holes. Sad thing is that it could be a fun course.
We appreciate the feedback and genuinely apologize that you felt the course conditions were poor. We are doing everything we can to keep the course in great shape! We hope you come back and give us another shot soon!
Greens!!!!!!!
Should have known something was up when the parking lot was empty on a beautiful Sunday morning, and was there ever something wrong. Next time I will check the reviews before booking, as the greens were terrible. Course should notify you of the condition before play, and reduce their green fees substantially under these conditions. Will never play this course again.
Nice. course with nice layout wonderful clubhouse and food under great management. Greens plugged earlier this season are now coming around.

Fun course
Cart paths are a bit rough and the greens have recently (maybe in the last year) been sprigged. Made the greens a little rough. Overall, the course is pretty and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We'll play it again.

Hot Deal
This course was one of my favorites in the past, it was a great value then. But now, the course is in bad condition. The greens are dead and have weeds growing on them. They just mow the weeds short and you have to putt on dead grass, weeds and patches of bare ground. Also, the mowing of the course is pretty bad, lots of tall weeds even in the fairway. Several times my tee shot came to rest in the middle of the fairway, but was in deep weeds that were not mowed.
I don't feel it was worth the $12 hot deal that I purchased and definitely not worth full price.
I won't be returning to this course unless I hear that they have corrected the greens and start mowing properly.

Pace of play was nice. Some very interesting course features. Greens weren't in great shape. Overall good golf.

The greens are horrible
We've played here several times and this time the greens were horrible. As far as I'm concerned the course should probably wear a paper sack over its head.....
The course as a whole was pretty overgrown. Fairways and greens could definitely use a good trim. Staff was very friendly and course layout was good. Could be a great course with a little work.

Garbage
Maybe in a year if they decided to fix their greens and now their fairways I'll try it again. Putting was just as effective as putting in the street with all the knots and bumps. Never have I lost as many golf balls in the fairway either. Lots of blind spots and if you've never been the layout can be confusing. If I'm just playing to get out of the house I wouldn't spend more than ten dollars and wouldn't keep score.
Not sure what has happened, but the course needs a new superintendent. The Fairways were like the rough and the greens were horrible
Found a great deal
Took my son to play and talked up the coarse I had played years ago. From the parking lot to the finish of the round, I was apologizing to my boy about this place. I'm not sure why the residents put up with such deplorable conditions, but I would be embarrassed to live their. Even with the great deal we got, it was not worth the time we wasted.
I wouldn't spend more than $12 to golf here. Walked in and the first thing the guy said was we burned the greens. Fairways needed some water and they decided to water the putting greens while we played....at 1 o clock. Putting was just as good as putting in the streets. I have never seen a ball to straight then immediately left. Maybe in 6 months it'll be better.

... has been a fun, challenging course in the past. But for whatever reason, maintenance has all but stopped. I will not play this course again until basic improvements are made (too many nice courses in the immediate area. ). Get it together Lost Creek!
