Nice views but …

Pretty scenic on a couple holes, played fairly, greens were decent! But, the tee boxes were terrible. Sand was different on all 3 bunkers I was in (clay like, no sand, and just dirt). Was worth the dollar but probably wouldn’t bother playing again.

Pace of play sucks

Nice course but they need a course attendant to actually be out on the course there was a 12some that would not let me (a single) play through and were jerks and no one said a thing and course would be great if it was managed properly.

Sky Mountain rocks

This course was an amazing experience. The holes are designed so that you have to think on a number of holes. The views are spectacular, top 10 in my experience.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Play this course, you will not regret it!

SKY Mountain

Excellent value and we received free range balls. Carts with GPS maps is nice touch which should help pace of play. No Marshall's on course and pace of play was very slow. We waited at ever tee box, and fair way.

Amazing views

The course views and layout were amazing but the greens had been punched recently and the putting was not true. Very disappointed that I paid full price green fees and then had to hope my putts hit an aeriation hole and bounced the right way. If the staff had told me the greens had been punched I would have passed.

Brilliant

We loved the course layout and the views were spectacular. Facility has everything you need and the burger afterwards was just right. This will be part of our Utah rotation from now on.

Awesome Place to Play!!

I love this golf course! Sometimes it can be a little windy, but today there was no wind at all. Sky Mountain is the most scenic course in Southern Utah. The course is in amazing condition. It always is. You will not regret playing here.

One of the most scenic courses

Played some Sunday afternoon twilight 9 holes. Beautiful scenery and fun course layout. Course conditions were pretty average with spotty greens but I will definitely return.

Unreal… views, hospitality and the hot dog!

Every hole was OMG look at that view. Very fair layout of you can hit it straight. The course dog at the turn was lights out! I’ll be back!

Great course but TeeOff didn’t communicate with them

Made the tee time and paid the fees to TeeOff but when I showed up they had no record of me. Luckily I had a nice guy in the pro shop and he just let us start on the back nine then he worked us into the front. I had mentioned that I paid over 40 bucks in fees to TeeOff so he knocked 10 dollars off each of our rounds. Was very nice. Annoyed that I paid money to TeeOff to get us a time but they didn’t even get me a time. Ended up just being lucky I had a nice pro shop employee. I would do this course again for sure but definitely won’t be booking off this website again.

Fun course to play

Sky Mountain is overall a fun course to play, with a few caveats.

The scenery is beautiful, carts are GPS equipped, and the sandwiches at the turn (which you can order before #9) are delicious.

While the biggest views come at the end of the course, I found the front 9 more fun to play, starting right with the beautiful #1, and a few par 4s on the shorter side. The back 9 unfortunately suffers from way too many houses being build on the sides of holes, and blind/unclear shots on many holes.

The conditions were generally good, but some tee boxes were not level, and the greens had lots of unrepaired marks (from many weeks apparently), often making for bumpy putts. A bit of additional love could easily fix these issues.

The challenge level is generally moderate, despite the high winds on the day we played; only the par-3 16th hole was scary in those conditions, and it's still a fun hole.

All in all, it's still worth the play, and the rate is reasonable for this area.

Pace of Play

Both my wife and I enjoy playing this course and taking in the surrounding beauty from so many holes. Unfortunately the pace of play was agonizing. I was told when I called an hour before our tee time and when we checked in a half hour ahead that there were no delays. We tee’d off 20 minutes late and by the turn we reached the turn we’re 45 minutes behind. We ended up quitting after 15 holes. This is such a beautiful course but not sure we will play it again due to the place of play as this was not our first time experiencing slow play at Sky Mountain

Spectacular golf course

This course is a real hidden gem in Hurricane Utah, approximately 10miles away from Zion Canyon! Spectacular setting surrounded by mountains and canyons. The course was in great shape, the greens rolled really well. The best part was we finished in 3 1/2 hours. Try it out I know you will not be disappointed.

Sky Mountain round

My son and I played a beautiful Saturday afternoon. A ladies' tournament was just finishing.
The pro let us go out the back nine first which was greatly appreciated.
The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it.
We had a great time.
