Stunning Mountain Golf
I'm from Chicago so this was an amazing experience for me. The course is beautiful. Played just after a rainstorm so it was a softened a little but still running pretty firm and the greens were great. It's summer so there were a lot of ball marks which needed fixing but that's everywhere right now. The mountain views are amazing here. Different and better hole after hole. Couple of very fun downhill tee shots, reachable par fives, challenging par threes. I can't believe it's not $100 to play this course. The carts are very basic, no GPS and not much covering, but they let you drive them all over the place (which makes the condition of the course that much more impressive). This place is a blast, play here if you get the chance.
Hidden Gem
This is a hidden gem of a course and I would highly recommend. The views and wildlife on the course are amazing. The course was in great shape and the canyon course posed some new elevation challenges you just cant get anywhere. Played both the lake & canyon course and will be coming back soon.
Great, slow holiday round
Wasatch Mountain State Park is a very popular summer destination which makes the golf courses (Lake & Mountain) very busy; however, the courses are great and worth the slow play; the Mountain course is a favorite for our golf group to play, and this was no exception; the course, as always, was in fantastic shape, and the staff were friendly and accommodating; I recommend this course to all golfers wanting to enjoy the awesome Wasatch Mountains and wildlife while playing golf; you will not be disappointed!
An annual favorite
Our group has played here the past few years which has become an annual favorite for the group; the course was in fantastic condition which is obviously a favorite destination course for golfers from all destinations; the views are fantastic, and the course play requires the use of all clubs as well as strategy; I would recommend this course to all golfers above beginner level; although it has beautiful views, the challenge level would deter from the pleasure of a beginner.
Well Run Muni
The course is a hidden gem east of Salt Lake City in the Heber City/Midvale area. Well worth the drive. The course is well played over the season. Considering we played in Sept. the course was in excellent shape for a busy golf season. Greens hold well.
Great mountain golf course & experience
The Wasatch Mountain GC is an exceptional course with quiet serenity, mountain vistas, and well managed course; this state park course complex is very popular and busy which caused a bit of slow play until the 4-some in front of us allowed us to play through after seven holes; thereafter it was undeterred and a great golf experience; one of my favorite Utah golf courses!
