Much improved, not a $60 golf course
They are putting work in. It is much better than the last time I played a few years ago. But not a $60 golf course at 7:40 am on a Saturday.
Nice older style course
I have played Nippersink in the past but this was the 1st
Time playing since they switched the layout making hole 10 number one and hole one number 10 doesn’t seem like a big deal but if you are walking it make you walk 500 yards from hole nine to hole 10. It not a good change in my opinion. The course was 28 dollars on golf now to walk kind of pricey for being in Wisconsin. The greens are good you are hitting up to most of the greens. Which makes it play longer.
It’s 6200 yards from the white tees plenary for misty of us.
I like the course just have a cart or you will really gets your steps due to strange new layout
Nice course
Course is always in good shape. Some new holes, added. One was not in the best shape. Still like this course!!!
Still one of my favorites in the area
New layout, and a couple new holes.
One was not in great shape( I don't remember the hole number) fairway and green was rough. I do keep in mind it's one of the newer holes. Still enjoyed the course and will be back!!!!
Course Under Construction
Course will be ok in a few months but is currently under construction as they eliminate an existing hole and squeeze a new one in.
It’s February
It’s February and I’m golfing?! I did like the layout of this course. No leaves on the tree, but I was cool with that. Fairways are pretty wide and this course is forgiving if you have a wicked slice…maybe. I’m definitely coming back during the summer to check out the full beauty of this golf course. Give it a go!
Solid location, needs sprucing up
Cool spot in the cornfields. Lots of hills and some fun over water Par 3s. I got lost after 8 or 9 holes due to lack of signage for back 9. Tee boxes need work. Fun place that looks to be renovating.
Slow Play & What's With The Tee Boxes
From the start we waited 5 to 15 minutes on every shot while a threesome and two singles played in front of us. Why the singles weren't allowed to play through is beyond me and the non-existent course ranger. I plead on these pages once again for better fellow golfer etiquette.
And, for the second time in a week we experienced the shortage of tee boxes - 3 instead of the usual 5. This denies average golfers (male or female) to enjoy the chance to reach 4 and 5 par greens in regulation.
This lakeside course is in decent shape as are all area courses are plush with lush green fairways, thick rough and undulating greens.
Finally, I only recommend this course to others with the two concerns mentioned - slow play and lack of standard tee boxes.
Cool day
First time playing. Wish I found this place earlier in the year.what a nice course.had a great day
Good course and friendly staff. Always like golfing here!!!
Exceeded expectations
First time playing there definitely worth the 40 minute drive from the lake. Greens were nice, semi slow but very true. Course was way nicer than I expected and was a very fun layout
Pace of play
Need a course marshal to deal with nuckleheads…
Gem of a course tucked away in corn fields…
Was disappointed Victor Newman and Jack Abbott were not available to join us…
