Sunridge Golf Club

About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Excellent layout. Fun but challenging
This course is beautiful and never disappoints ya. Has some challenging shots and water hazards. Beautiful wildlife and great staff!
2nd time there this winter
The course was in decent shape for being in the middle of Jan. Our only gripe was all the ball marks in the green. My friend and I fixed some on every hole. We know that every mark can't be fixed, but it would be nice if the course could run out and fix some of the really big ones. Be back soon if the weather holds up.
Staff is great!!
THANKS.
Never grow tired of this course
Sunridge is one of those courses you have to play to understand both its beauty and challenge. The hills on holes 6-9 and 14-18 make it a hard to walk course, but the scenery is magnificent.
AMAZING COURSE!
Challenging w narrow fairways this will test the best golfers! Back nine super fun and challenging! Love this course!
Unfair fees.
I booked my tee time through GolfNow. The prior day, I also had a tee time at 10:07am. I showed up with my 5 year old son. Sunridge was closed. I did not receive a credit for this by GolfNow. It clearly says Hot Deals can only be refunded if course is closed.
Back to yesterday’s tee time at 10:27. My 5 year old son is learning to play golf. The gentleman at the counter proceeded to assist us. We checked in and then he says we are going to charge a sitting fee of $15 because golfers have to can’t have empty seats.
I have played golf at this course for 2 years! I live on the golf course by the way. I didn’t bring my wallet with me, so they made us drive back home to get my wallet to pay them $15.00. In the 2 years I have been playing Sunridge for 2 years, not once did they say there is a 15.00 fee. It seems they make up costs to customers whenever they feel like it. For our youth there should be exceptions. They let golfers bring there dogs in the golf course!
Sunridge is always fun
Conditions were winter weather cold with some sun. Ground was firm on the greens so suggested to club down on approach shots and land chip shots a little further from the pin because the ball is definitely going roll out.
The course is fun to play winter or summer so I recommend it.
Great hidden course in Northern Nevada
This is an excellent golf course. It is challenging, but a lot of fun with elevation changes. The tee boxes offer various challenges. You will enjoy it.
S.G.C.
Everyone and everything was good. Staff was excellent/courteous and the course was in good winter shape. Not the course's fault but I wish the players out there would repair their ball marks. My friend and I repaired 2-3 on every hole.
See Ya soon ~weather permitting.
The Story of 2 Nines
The front 9 is like most of the other local courses, only with more water hazards. The back 9 is crazy and interesting with the elevation changes. Very interesting. Similar to some St George, UT or Mesquite, NV courses.
The fairways were in good shape, considering the season. The greens were very good and consistent. It was a great place to play and I'll come more often.
Always worth for every penny.
We live in Bay Area and play in Sunridge when we stay in South Lake Tahoe area. The course is very fun and reasonably well maintained considering the fee. Highly recommended.
Just a great play
Always like this course. Challenging, great shape, and super friendly staff. Played in 3 hours, no gos in cart but course is marked very well. This course just never disappoints, for the price and challenge and conditions I just really like playing here.
