Fire Randy
I have been a member at PGA for several years now and recently left because the club has really gone down hill. The head golf professional at PGA National is Randy Raimondi, who takes himself way too seriously. Instead of speaking to members like "members", he talks to you like youre a kid. He cancels tee times without first notifying the member, he doesnt return phone calls, and emails take him over a week to respond. Brookfield Asset Management recently purchased the club and the service coming out of the golf department is terrible. Randy needs to be fired immediately. I know of two other members that left because of the way they were treated from Randy. Im sure Randy doesnt care and he will just sign up new members, but the reputation of the club is spreading quickly. The club culture spreads from the top down and Randy needs to learn how to treat people. I actually think he has a Napoleon complex.
Enjoyable Round of Golf
The course was all you would expect of PGA National. Green were receptive. Fairway have ample width. Bunkers/Hazards challenge but manageable.
This is the worst course the have. Green were so bad you almost couldn't putt. Nothing exciting about this course. Been on many public courses that are much better. Don't waist your $$$
Pga National Squire course
This was a disappointment, the practice patting green was excellant, the greens on the Squire course were terrible, slow with dirt marks around the edges, like they had a disease.
disappointing for PGA national and the money we were playing
Named For a Squire but Fit for a King
This course was excellent. Played three courses over the weekend at PGA National and this was my favorite. Wide fairways offer ease of tee shots, though you must shape the ball off some of them. Great greens that rolled very well in the afternoon heat. Not the most scenic, but do not skip this course when going to PGA National.
Squire Course Review
We had a great time on the Squire Course. It was in great shape and the staff was very friendly.
fun little track
The course was in great shape, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. While not particularly long, you'd better be ready to hit some shots. The layout was challenging, yet fair. As usual, the PGA staff was top-notch.
Gem
This course was the first of three that I had the pleasure of playing at PGA National (I also played the Palmer and the Champion). Although this course is much shorter than the others on property, it was highly enjoyable and had some unique holes. The Squire was charmingly fair and allows golfers of all levels to enjoy themselves. Fairways were nice and wide and the greens were rolling very true.
Great track at PGA National
Went on a recent golf trip with a bunch of buddies down to PGA National. The Squire was the first course we played. It is not very long at around 6300 yards, but it still a very challenging course for its length. Greens were in excellent conditions and rolled very pure. Had the feeling of an old style Florida course with the trees shaping a lot of different shots on the golf course. Like most of the courses at PGA National water can be your enemy.
