North at Los Serranos Golf & Country Club

About
Los Serranos Country Club boasts two championship golf courses, the North and South. The courses sprawl across 300 acres that are a part of the Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant. Both courses offer a different round from one another, allowing players of all skill levels to find something to their liking at Los Serranos. Los Serranos' North golf course is the shorter of the two measuring in at just under 6,700 yards but every course in southern California can make that claim since the South Course boasts the Jack's Black tees, which make it the area's longest course. The North Course was designed with all skill levels in mind. It is more player-friendly than the South but there are still challenges in store thanks to strategically placed Scottish-style bunkers and tight fairways bordered by rough.

Overcrowded course
We had a tee time set up for 1:34pm…didn’t get our carts until 1:50pm because of a cart shortage (which is fine) but what was really annoying was that we didn’t tee off until 2:10pm because this course stacks tee times on top of each other. You’re always waiting on literally every single shot and there are no marshalls out there to enforce pace of play. If you want to enjoy a nice round of golf, I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless the course and management figure out how to space the groups out more. The course is in average condition - greens are rolling good, fairways in ok condition and no grass on the tee boxes.
Pace of play always slow at Los Serranos no matter which course you play..... but good thing you can always find tee times on the weekend just expect over 5 hours rounds .....overall course not bad though fairway and greens are nice ...... well at least you have time to shotgun beers while you wait at the tee box
Awesome Job
Los Serranos team is the best in the business. Play all over IE no one can touch the staff and course value!
lots of overgrown grass
I don't know if the grounds keepers were off throughout the whole COVID thing but you would think they could at least cut the grass instead of cutting the first two days of the course reopening.
GolfNow Error
Course was in excellent shape and the staff was great considering I was bent to find out that GolfNow and this course are not on the same page! GolfNow is reserving a tee time that is not match the tee sheet at the course! I had a 3:50pm tee time that was actually a 4:15pm tee time which caused us not to finish!
North course
In good shape but the greens have been recently punched
Fun course, slow play
The North course was better than expected. Layout is not overly tight, but ball placement off the tee is key if you want a good approach shot. 5 hour round in the weekday afternoon, but otherwise an enjoyable experience.
Fun and fair
Great day today. Played behind a tournament but enjoyed all 5 hrs of it. Lol. Great course
Super Bowl Sunday
I think all the golfers in California wanted a tee time before 10:00 AM, due to a 3:30 Super Bowl kickoff. So truly not the course fault, although no Marshall to keep slow play moving, but most courses don’t it’s all about saving the dollar. The course is in fairly nice shape ( I like it ). The staff is very friendly pro shop, starter and snack bar. Although I did hear a couple of employees grumbling over management!! Definitely recommend the course.
Very slow pace
I did not know they allow 5 player groups now. I & my friend had two 5 player groups in front of us and they are extremely slow.
Los serranos north course
Fun track that is challenging and in good shape! Is crowded on weekends like most courses but overall very good track!
Good day.
Played in 41/2 hours and for a Sunday that's pretty good. If there was a marshal it could have been a 4 hour round.
The day was perfect so really who cares how long you're out there just along as you not waiting for evert shot. Course was in good conditions and greens true and fast.
