Omni Amelia Island Resort - Ocean Links

The ocean links course has challenging holes nestled in a natural wetlands setting combined with 5 beachfront holes that are both beautiful and breezy!

Made a tee time on Golf now for Saturday afternoon play. They would not honor the Florida resident rate that I received on golfnow even though I provided a title from my home in Florida as well as my bill from the water / sewer company. Instead of making this an enjoyable golfing afternoon, they discriminated against giving me the Florida resident rate claiming they had some crazy rule about needing to see a driver liscense. The whole thing ruined it for me. I will not be back and I will be telling as many of my colleagues and friends not to golf there since they did not honor Golfnow’s rates for residents. Totally stressful situation which could have been prevented with just a little bit of professionalism from the 3 staffers in the clubhouse. I hope they read this comment. I will be sending a board member from Omni that I am very good friends with to let them know how I was treated and lets see what happens next.

Spectacular views and tough holes. My favorite course in northeast florida.

I was able to get the first tee time of the day, and that worked out great. Flew around in two hours, staff was friendly. Five holes are on the ocean, but the layout is tight. I played the tips and shot 80, and I am a 5. I would definitely play again.

Had a great day on the course played the first nine in one hour then hit some traffic but the views were awesome. Must play

Everything is great about both of the Omni courses. Great staff, course conditions, and layout.

Greens in good shape and consistent. Short tight course but plays longer than what shows on the card.

Loved the layout with many very interesting holes and ocean seascape views. Greens are challenging but putted smoothly. Staff is very helpful. Looking forward to a return visit very shortly. Golfnow hot deal made it an outstanding value.

The links just reopened after the storm. It is a friendly but challenging resort course. Unfortunately, it seems the property is scheduled for development. Some folks say it will be open a few more months, others say 2-3 years. I'd play it while it lasts. While wind is up, the ocean holes are particularly challenging. Good bargain for Fla/Ga. residents on GolfNow.

Great layout for a short course. Somewhat narrow and challenging. Has 5 very scenic holes that run along the beach. Course was in very nice condition and pace of place was great. No one in front and no one behind us....probably preparing for Hurricane Irma. Course was a great value for FL/GA residents.

In terms of layout, quality, and scenery there is no better course to golf than this one in northeast Florida. Will be golfing this course many more times in the future and look forward to it.

Ocean course is demanding as to shot placement. Conditions were very good. Staff was friendly. Round was interrupted by a violent thunderstorm. The bar was accommodating. After a drink and lunch, course was ready to finish the round. Hardly new it received that much rain. Have played a few rounds on the Ocean Course and enjoyed them all. Rumor has it that the course will become real estate development. Sad to hear!!!

The course was a good value for what we paid. Had we paid the standard $120 rate, it would have been a poor value. Greens were small but good and the course can be tricky when the breeze picks up off the Atlantic.
