Slow Play
Very very slow pace. 5 hour round. Mainly because two groups ahead decided to take forever between holes 9 and 10.
Probably last time playing this course since it closes next week. Sad. Great course.
Wildcreek
Another fun round here. Busy Friday, but our foursome was done in 4 hours 15 minutes, not too bad. Still makes me sad this course is being taken away from us.
Good Challenge
Three of us played and the pace of play was great (after we let a couple of singletons through). Course was in good shape, except 18 had a little damage which they were trying to mitigate. Great views of Reno and the mountains.
Great Course. Recommend it to Everyone.
I recently played this course, and I was pretty pleased with it. The layout is good, there are challenges in some of the holes (one of the par 3 holes is uphill), but it's a good course for beginners. Highly recommended.
P.S. They have a beverage cart that goes around the course too!
Wildcreek is a great challenge for your golfing $$
First, I hope Reno/Sparks does not decide to close or modify this course as it is a gem. Wildcreek is challenging, beautiful and a great value, The vistas of the Reno/Sparks valley and surrounding mountains are awesome from several of the greens and tee boxes. The course and greens were in very good condition. There are several holes that are challenging and you should chose the appropriate tee box to play off. It is now our go to course in the area especially since they closed Rosewood Lakes which was also another great course for your golfing dollar. Golfing at times may seem to be on the decline, but courses like Wildcreek make you want to keep playing just for the beauty of the course. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Great course
Dont shut this course down! Who needs education when you have golf!
Pace of play
Well to start with I don’t ever remember when you can play a 5some on any course that I have ever played, let alone 2 5somes back to back. One of those went in sat down and ordered lunch and sat and ate it then jumped in front of us and behind the other. Went and complained a little but not much, they informed us that the Marshall was on it, yeah he was but didn’t do a thing about either one of them. Will never play this course again until they straighten things out.
Wildcreek
This is my favorite course in Reno. I'm not the best golfer but I do ok, 93 today, and this place is very challenging for me. I always golf with random strangers and have met some great people in the process. I appreciate that I'm treated kindly and I feel very at home here.
Wild creek Reno
I played this course twice and the overall experience was great . Loved the course ,loved the layout and loved the friendly staff . I would play this course again in a heartbeat . Congrats to Wild Creek staff and owners . Job well done . Gerry Leeman
Nice course
Wildcreek is a wonderful course to play however with Reno/Sparks taking away so many courses in the past the course does get crowded and play is slow to average about 4hrs for 18 holes. The greens vary in speed from slow to fast so be on your best game. Fairways are in good condition after the harsh winter. I will continue to play here weekly.
