When I first played Cobleskill, the Pro was so welcoming, that I became a member. The staff and the members are friendly, the course is fun to play, well maintained with scenic views and a relaxing Clubhouse Restaurant.

good condition great price very nice course some tough holes

One of my favorite courses. June has been a rainy month, the course drains well, no plugged balls, fairways and greens were excellent. The rough is thick, but cut to a playable level. Course condition to me is mostly about The greens. Golf is not a game of perfect, you will find thin spots here and there, rub of the green. Accept the challenge. The grounds crew are to be commended for the great job they do. Mix of gentle and severe sloped greens, keep it below the hole. Beautiful views around the course. Wide open enough to not lose too many balls, keep nice pace of play. Always friendly staff, great restaurant. Enjoy your meal on the covered deck overlooking the course.

Many blind shots make this course interesting. No food or coffee until after 11 so eat your breakfast before going. Beverage cart at 11 so can get something then. Busy, busy so very slow play. Will play again.

great course layout and excellent shape . Lunch was exceptional

Course was in good shape for this time of year. Greens were fast and true. Even though the course was crowded we were able to finish in less then 4 hours. Many of the holes offer beautiful views.

Layout was interesting and since first time playing, I found myself not always in the correct position for best access to greens. Enjoyed the course and would try and play again if I'm in the area. Greens had recently been aerated so it was difficult to assess the rolls properly. A definite bargain through your discount site, and some of the views of the Catskills were wonderful.

Very challanging course, quick greens and plenty of places to get into trouble if you miss the fairway. Great time playing, lots of fun.

Enjoyed playing here. Everything is well maintained. Greens were smooth and fast which is great but the slope makes a couple of the greens a bit hokey. Leaving yourself above the hole could be a problem. Just starting the put could end up off the green if missed. Overall, I would still play here again.

The course is nice shape and is challenging too. We played 18 holes in less than 3hours. Sure there were some tricky holes... I can say Snowman for one of those holes! But overall it's a nice course and I want to go back when the leaves change colors... it will worth the drive from Albany. The also have a good deal on Beer and after we stopped in for lunch and a brew. The on premises smoked beef brisket and pulled pork were excellent... and they had my favorite brew from VT. Switchback unfiltered ale. As Arnold says... " I'll be Back"....

Interesting layout.
Not long, with reachable Par 5's and a couple drivable Par 4's, but it's defense is definitely the small, fast, undulating greens (I'm pretty sure my living room is bigger than a couple of the greens here, #1 for instance).
Doglegs, elevation changes, blind shots, water, sand, penal rough, great views, this place has it all!
A couple notable holes here too. #5, a shorty, but you better play it correctly or suffer (hey wait, even if you play it conservatively, it can bite you!). Also, #17, Wow! A very angry looking Par 3 with a two tier green, great fun!
Well worth the drive!

Booked a Tee Time here on GOLF NOW as my Girlfriend and I have been wanting to try this course all year,....well worth the price for chance to play at this course.

The facility is very well kept, and the Staff is very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the staff showing us to the practice green and answering any questions that we had.

The course itself is very challenging, yet a lot of fun to play, with challenges at every hole. There is a nice variety of long and short pars, but each and every hole on the course offers unique challenges to overcome, which was the most fun. The course itself allows you, the golfer to have to think as you may run into water, then elevated fairways, then streams, and so on.

The entire course is extremely well maintained and very nicely laid out by the staff. Some holes offer benches to watch others tee off, or just to look at the Amazing scenery.The design of the course, and the Beauty that it allows you to observe is, without a doubt, well worth the trip in itself.

My girlfriend and I went here during the week as the GOLFNOW price for a teetime was hard to pass up. We were not let down by our day at this course !

The staff at the facility was very friendly with checking us in and giving us the course information and had us on the course in no time at all.

The facilities and grounds are very nice and include clearly marked directions and cart paths all along the course. Most if not all holes have flower gardens at the tee locations as well as some benches to observe the views of the fairways.

The course itself is extremely well maintained and in great shape. The Fairways and Greens are in perfect shape and offer challenges at every turn. The Greens specifically are a lot of fun to play on, and you WILL find them challenging with a lot of diferent layouts to be found.

What we found the best about this course was the layout of the entire course and the scenic views. The designer of this course took thier time to make a layout that was made specifically for Golfers, as it offers new challenges at every turn from the tee box to the green as well as Breathtaking views all along the way.

We will go back to play there again as soon as we can, and would highly recommend this facility to Golfers of all skill levels.

I've been playing this course for over 10 years, and have played it dozens of times. Most recent visit, we were presented with a condition that i've never seen it in - near perfect. Greens were short, quick, and firm. Fairways were striped, short, and rolled nicely. Rough was thick and punishing. Mountain greens such as 1, 7, and 9 were more challenging that usual because of the superb conditions, and because I failed to keep the ball below the hole.

Their greens fees are fair for what you're getting, but the deals on Golf Now make not playing this course foolish. We managed to score a hot deal on a Wednesday morning where we paid $13 per person. Unbelievable.

Always loved this course for what it is, and I'll continue to play there.

Paid $19.00 with cart through golf now deal. Have played this course at least 15 times, always enjoyable. Course is always in tremendous condition, from tee to green. Just a pleasure to play.

Perfect day. Played in a little under 3 hours. Greens were excellent, and course in great shape wit lots of flowers, couple of streams, and excellent fairways. Will definitely go back. Pro was very friendly and anxious to make us feel welcome.

I've always heard about the course being a good try but never committed due to it being a bit of a drive. We were comfortable right from the start with a pleasant greeting and great facility. It's a very laid back atmosphere with a course that's top of the line. The conditions were superb, the layout was fair but challenging and the greens were perfect. I really can't stress enoughj how this course so exceeded our expectations. We will be back in a heartbeat!

One concern... we had a foursome and were a bit bothered by a slow twosome jumping out ahead of us on ten and a few singles pushing us pretty hard to get through. The trade off was that overall the course was not crowded on a beautiful day and the staff and facilities were great.

This is a fun course to play--not too easy and not too hard. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape and the bunkers had real sand in them (not typical for upstate NY). I really enjoyed it!
