Disgraceful Staff

Firstly to give you some background on this experience I am from Ayr originally and my passed away father won tournaments the Tam O’Shanter to be exact competition years ago so I was buzzing with excitement to play this course and could not wait and travelled from Glasgow for a 7:25 tee off time. Now onto the incidents that occurred turned up and told just tee off, I asked were there buggies on and could I purchase told medical only sorry to only see 3 gentlemen later on as I sat in the cafe zooming around in nothing medical so basically telling me that you keep them for members only or someone you know, thought nothing of it as it was frosty bare in mind I had paid full price for a course I did not know had winter greens as previously to call ahead the council told me by phone and calls are recorded that one we’re buggies available yes and two was it winter greens no, gets down the first tee on the fairway shambles, had I been informed at the desk this was the case I would not had played my own course which is a hotel does not even have winter greens and was 30 miles closer to my house than this course was. Did not stop there down the second the flat is by a tree which you cannot see in the middle of the fairway by this point I see green keeper I shout and ask if the greens were on or not no response, gets onto the 3rd there is no flag and caught another green keeper who proceeds to tell me play to the second holes flag which is now further around a tree that you cannot even see, gets over that down the 4th played that and as I get half way up the 4th the green keeper puts the flag on the 3rd green how can that happen? As 4/5 minutes ago I was told I was told to play to the previous hole, did not stop there I look across at the 1st and a member of player puts the flag onto the green from the fairway as 2 green keepers are walking towards as this man is doing there job for them. How can this be the case that’s an absolute disgrace and a shambles you expect that on a pitch and putt not a course like bellisle which I am sure is not cheap to be a member of never mind even bringing the money into it that is beyond a joke. I challenged mate green keepers was told to hold my wheesht and that I was the one out of order as I relayed why is there winter greens on and the starter hasn’t told me one, got told we don’t talk to him so I asked why was the greens not on and the gentleman was putting on the flags to the green for them and doing there job was told course was setup and ready I was at this point 4/5 holes in, when challenged on the setup was told ask for a refund then and speak to reception I asked do you not communicate and your basically passing the buck to the starter he said we don’t speak to him, communication is free if I was offered the option then that’s on me of playing winter greens and if the course was not setup why was I told I could tee off, there was a small bit of soft but to be on a hole there is no flag and putting on a fairway that is not good enough, sour taste as the course is a very good setup course with some amazing views but the incidents and even being challenged by a green keeper is very unprofessional that almost I was in the wrong is not on to be honest.
