Holes 18

Style Parkland
Par 72
Length 6444 yards
Slope 137
Rating 71.5

Well maintained greens and the burn running through it makes for a feature at several holes. Really hilly, particulary back 9 so be prepared for a hike. Gets you right out in the country and away from everything. Memorable Hole - 9th. Dog leg right to a steep sloping green, with burn running along front of it. Drive to the dog leg to leave an accurate pitch into green. If you hit front of green its more than likely a watery grave for you.

Make or Break - 5th. A monster 500+yds par 5. Tee from an elevated green then you need a good fairway wood to leave you chance of hitting green in 3. Out of bounds burn runs all way up right hand side of hole and round back of green. 3rd shot to green, tucked in a corner, is usually blind. A par here is excellent.

Fantastic course for the money

Was greeted by the friendly shop owner. He let me tee off 20 minutes early which was great. Course was in good condition given the time of year. A couple of muddy fairways here and there but that, again, is to be expected. All greens were in fantastic shape, no rough patches at all. Fairways nice and open with a few testing narrow fairways and blind uphill shots making for a challenging but very fair course. The 5th 7th and 12 par 5s and 14th par 3 were definitely memorable holes providing an excellent challenge. Will definitely be back and urge any golfer to pay this course. Definitely get your moneys worth

Ardeer in the sun

Weather was great but the course is very average …layout is good but course conditions were poor , greens were not great , general conditions poor , no ball washers until 18th tee , tees poor and clubhouse locked up had to go looking for any staff. No of course amenities…. But only paid £15 🤷‍♂️

Great value for money

Had a great round today. After rain earlier this week the course was a bit muddy but still enjoyed the round. Course is challenging with some nice shots into greens both uphill and downhill. Starter was very friendly and welcoming and will return.

Hidden Gem

A good test of golf, a few blind shots, but that makes it interesting. The semi rough is a nice length the heavy rough like any other course if you are in it its a bad shot.
Greens slower than a lot but very true, Course generally tidy, great lay out and a pleasure to play.
Good friendly staff.

Nicely laid out with some good challenges

Played yesterday, was a nice sunny day, had a great round, course can be quite tricky for first time as a few of the holes your driving blind but fun course overall to play! Going to join membership as close to home and happy with the course condition! Greens were a bit slow compared to some others but overall good course, ended up tieing in with a couple of other members half way round and this made the experience better as they kept me right! Look forward to playing again

Stunning wee course

Great course with plenty of blind tee shots. Great mix of holes and some stunning par 3’s and some tight fairways so hope your driving accuracy is good. If you hit in the rough here it’s most likely a lost ball. Makes for a great challenge.. Highly recommended

Shouldn't have been let on to play

Loosing balls in the fairways as it was all bogged waterlogged all over would be a nice round in the summer shouldn't be playable in today's conditions

Ardeer Gem

I used to play this course when I was a junior. Now some 30 years later this course has matures into a great parkland course with long challenging holes. Greens were in amazing condition. I had a late tee time and practically had the course to myself. Would definitely play again at the brilliant discounted prices.

Well kept

The course was in fabulous condition and the only thing I’d pick up on is the tees which can be forgiven given it’s pretty much the end of the summer golf season

Decent course, but not when wet.

A course that doesn't like rain. Soggy in area's around the course. Course itself is good test for the average golfer. Played in the afternoon but a lot of grass cutting going on, this in turn left lots off clumps of wet grass throughout the course. No interaction with staff as none could be found, felt as though could have turnt up and played for nothing. Decent course but better when dry.

As usual

All fine but the distance markers on the ground were obscured by grass and as relative strangers this made the round frustrating. A problem common at many courses BTW.
