Cedar Hills Golf Club

Cedar Hills GC is a fun, challenging course that entertains and forces strategic play; the staff was very welcoming and friendly and accommodated the fact that our third player was going to be late due to traffic/construction; the course was in good shape, and the green fee was well worth the experience; this was the first time the friend I mentioned earlier had played this course, and when we finished, he stated that he really enjoyed the round and wanted to play the course soon.

Despite the slow pace of play, the round was very enjoyable; this is a course I try to play a few times a year despite its distance away from home.

This course provides an opportunity to hit every club in your bag because of its risk-reward layout; from the white tees, the course is not very long and requires one to strategize play; the course was dry in die fairways, but the greens were very receptive and helped protect against low scores with interesting pin positions and breaks there on; the only real drawback was that the pace of play was slow for every tee to green shot due to two very slow threesomes (older gentlemen); luckily both groups only played 9-holes which allowed for quicker play thereafter; I enjoy playing this course every year and will continue to do so; I wish it were closer in proximity.

This is a nice course to play, with some unique holes. The front nine is more a links type course, and the back is a mountain course. So if you like some variety this course is great. Very scenic with fun topography. really enjoyed this course because every hole seems to offer a unique challenge.
