Very rough around the edges !
Good size car park and friendly staff in shop
Decent practice nets which looked new however practice putting was awful
1st tee was half way down the fairway and was a winter mat.
The 10th and 18th had no mats and we had to tee off from the fairway.
A lot of crossings and waiting on the course. About 5 of the greens were decent, the rest were poor.
Nice setting and I would imagine it would be ok in season
Expensive for what was on offer!
Horrific condition
I've been a member here previously, the condition when I played yesterday with a friend was awful, 16 out of 18 greens were temporary greens at 10:56 am tee time.
If we hadn't have had a hot deal for £18:99, we would have been paying £28 which I think is terrible value for money.
Really not an enjoyable experience on this particular day.
Average at best !
Prices were more expensive than I had been led to believe, and not VFM compared to other local courses.
The lady in the shop was friendly, however there were no bar/ catering facilities available as they are closed on Mondays.
There were three new practice nets which was good, but no practice putting green in use.
The tees in general were good, however some had box tees that were in poor conditions and slippery
The fairways were decent and manicured
The greens were poor, albeit they had recently been scarified. The bunkers were very poor.
I might be back in the summer, however not a good first impression.
El tel
Played this course a few times always enjoyed not this time unfortunately this is wrong time of year to play lot of wet areas some temporary greens any ball slightly off line took an age to find with all the leaves covering the ground will be back next year in the summer
Not great
Pros - not as wet as we were expecting.
Cons - Clubhouse and pro shop not open at 9am on Saturday morning, therefore no way of buying refreshments or balls/tees before the round. Putting green condition shocking. Short course, still took 4 hours 20 mins to finish. At least 3 holes tee off directly over another green/fairway, consequently, felt a bit like a war zone constantly ducking for cover.
Good course, but has a few too many cross overs
Enjoyed the course, but has a a few too many cross overs for my liking playing in to the green on the second, you have players walking from the tee from the 6th, teeing past you if you’re already on the 2nd green. Green and tees playing 14/15/16 becomes a waiting game as greens and tees are a mish mash!!
It didn’t help that we played on a day when there was a club competition in front of us, so issue made worse.
Course was in nice condition, and would play again, but make sure you stay away from club competitions!!
Very good course for all abilities
Very pleasant parkland course in excellent condition.
Recommended.
Very flat course. If thats what your after its ideal.
Tidy enough course to play in summer. Lacked operational ball cleaners. Other than that no complaints.
Monday morning golf
Nice little course. Tough, narrow, plenty of trees.
Arrived early as I had a 09:00 and hoped for a coffee and bacon roll, but sadly bar shut, was still shut when I finished at 12:00!
Had a coffee from a nice lady in the shop. Shop a bit basic.
£20, can’t complain, challenging little course.
Excellent!
I played MV last year and was disappointed that 2 holes were out of action. Coming back here on Monday I was massively pleasantly surprised. Great time!! 👍👍👍
Mond Clydach
It’s a lovely course when dry. We have had lots of rain so course conditions as expected. Mainly flat with challenging holes. Recommend ⛳️😊
good course challenging with tree lined fairways nice and flat with good variance in hole layout
I enjoy playing this course very well kept fsirways and greens. Good value at the price charged. Recommended visit.
Wet old day
Course was good but the weather wasn’t kind which spoiled the day and game.
Mond Valley Course
Really enjoyed this course! Very helpful friendly staff! Played front 9 for £12! Conditions were wet under foot but the course played well! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return and play again!
