Ok

Good course but perhaps unfriendly atmosphere for any non-members.

I wasn’t allowed to play the picturesque back 9

I booked 5 days in advance for the Friday morning. When I turned up they told me I should never have been able to book because the seniors play the back 9 on Friday mornings. Had to play the front 9 twice and miss out on the back 9 with all the views. I was very annoyed.

Fair and friendly

A lovely last minute afternoon round with Pat Lisa and Bryan. I’d waited a while to get the chance to play Bray but it was worth the wait. Matched up with 3 others, I was glad of the course knowledge and tips of where to land it, all provided over a smatttering of friendly banter. Bray it must be said is a fair challenge with generous landing areas (once you know where) and beautifully manicured greens, though with many subtle borrows to be wary of. A fine finishing par 5 through an avenue of trees sets up a very satisfying conclusion.

Excellent Course

Course was in excellent condition and holes are very varied. Would recommend. About 4/5 holes are steep but overall a great track. Clubhouse and facilities are very good and the scenery is top notch.

A gem in the garden of Ireland.

The course has a great variety of holes, long and short, keeping you thinking all the time and using all clubs in the bag. Greens are excellent.
