About
Blackstone Country Club gets its name from the abundance of black volcanic rock present throughout the landscape, including on the terrain on their championship golf course. It is a desert-style course that offers majestic mountain views in addition to the indigenous rock formations. Jim Engh designed the course, which is his only course in Arizona. The course's fairways are dramatically undulating due to its placement atop rolling hills. There are many deep bunkers that are strategically placed throughout the course to add some difficulty. Blackstone Country Club also boasts an award-winning clubhouse called the Hacienda, which features numerous facilities including a children's area, a restaurant and wine room and a pool.

Wonderful Course
My buddies and I were able to play Blackstone during a guys golf trip to AZ. Great course, pro shop staff were very friendly, bag drop guys were very friendly, staff at the outside bar were also very nice. Tough course if you've never played it before, but I'd definitely play it again. The only disappointment was the post round food & drinks. We wanted to grab a meal inside the clubhouse as it was getting cold outside. Lots of confusion from the staff as to whether we could eat inside or not. We were finally told we could not eat because we were guests. It was early on Thursday evening, the clubhouse was not busy, and we had just paid $340+ for green fees. Let us eat!! We would have probably spent more on food & drinks in one night than most of the members spend in a month.

Blackstone is a fun course. Very well manicured! Great professional staff. Very friendly bag boys . Very fast but smooth greens. Stay below the holes. Creative layout

My first time playing golf in the desert was fantastic! Visiting friends ( 1 a Blackstone member ) and regular summer golf group members. I thought the course was a fair test of your skills. Everything about the place was comforting. Everyone made me feel as if I was a member. This would be a place i could enjoy playing on a regular basis.
Wonderful course
Great staff, nice facility, sliiick greens but not unfair, tremendous layout. Couple holes a little gimmicky but very very fun. Would definitely play again!!
