About
Tartan Field Golf Club features a traditional layout designed by Arnold Palmer. Although the course has a classic design it offers a fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The layout sprawls across lush, gently rolling hills that are covered with trees, which are strategically concentrated along the fairways. Numerous sand bunkers treacherously lurk around the greens and there are also several water hazards throughout that come in the form of meandering creeks, cascading waterfalls, and sparkling ponds. Proper club selection is key throughout the golf course and there are a number of interesting risk-reward holes. The par-4 13th is one of the most challenging holes. It requires a bit of skill to hit the small green in regulation, due in large part to the putting surface that is severely sloped from left to right.

Fantastic Palmer Design
This is hands-down one of the best courses in Central Ohio. The design is so much fun, and will really have you planning out shots, sometimes two or more in advance. The fairways are generous and will catch almost any tee shot, but being on the wrong side can cost you a stroke on a lot of holes. The fairways get more narrow towards the greens, which are protected by either sand or water, usually both. A few of the greens are guarded by ravines in the front that you will have to carry. The course is challenging but fair, as long as you are accurate.
The staff is awesome, and the course was in great shape when we were there, especially considering that we are so close to the end of the season. The practice facilities are also some of the best that you will find.
The course is private, but if you ever get a chance to play it, jump all over it; I promise you won't be disappointed.
fun, fair well designed layout rewards good shots penalizes bad shots. greens are a joy to putt fast with subtle undulations but if read it right and start in on line you make it. if you get the opportunity you want to play here.
Excellent Layout, Top Notch Practice Facility
Everything about this place is impressive. Really like the layout and the greens were in perfect repair and very quick.The practice area is one of the nicest I've seen.
