Terrific afternoon
I have lived in Florida my whole life and have heard a lot about the 1923 Donald Ross gem, but never had the chance to play it until now.
It was much better than I expected and was just a pure, pure golf experience. The layout was terrific, the par 3s were great and the whole atmosphere was neat.
Loved that they don't take tee times. You just get your group together, walk up to the first tee and let it fly.
The course was in great shape (mind you it was only a couple weeks after Hurricane Matthew) and there was nothing not to like about the day.
First Class
What is not to like about a course that does not take tee times, and allows you to waltz to the first tee when ready??? The course was in impeccable shape, as well as the club house and surroundings! If you get the chance then you better go play Timuquana!
World Class
I've been fortunate enough to play the best courses in my opinion, which include Pine Valley, Seminole, and Cypress Point. Timuquana ranks among the top 10 courses I've ever played. Course is fun and challenging. Clubhouse and food are exceptional. Overall an amazing experience. Can't wait to get back!!!!
