Beautiful Executive course
With two octogenarians playing with me, we were looking for a nice 9-hole course to play and this course was the right one. We enjoyed it very much. The first two holes were strange because of the way they were squeezed into the other amenities of the resort but after that the other 7 were less constricted. Number 8 is an island green (100 yards from front tees). There are 6 par threes and 3 par fours for par of 30. Very enjoyable!
Good practice course , good value 9 holer
We played this course at the start of our vacation . It is an ideal course for getting into the swing of things if you are on a golf trip and plan to play more challenging courses later in the week . A good course to use a practice session before the serious golf starts later in the week . The course was good value for the reasonable price we paid . The staff were very easygoing but efficient and friendly . The fairways were in good condition and the greens were good for the price range ... although the final hole had a temporary green as the main green was being worked on .
Overall , a pleasant course , and good value for the money
Very Very Slow
We arrived about 10 minutes early for our round only to find a few groups waiting to T off. Apparently they we out of golf carts & had to wait for other groups to finish before others could go out. Not a very professional setup here. Of course we waited a every tee.
Nice 9 hole short game exercise
Enjoyed a 9 hole round with a couple of short par 4 s added to a typical exec course. Finding pro shop was confusing but staff was friendly. Even a bit of excitement when a small gator picked up my wife's ball but spit it out and we played on. Greens are challenging with hard to see breaks:) We had fun!
NICE QUICK 9-HOLER
I've played this course many times and enjoy it every time I play it. Some short holes and some water holes. Good experience for a short course. Orange Lake in general is a beautiful place!!
Lost
I played on Tuesday with my son and he left his jacket in the cart. I called when we got back to our hotel and staff said they had the jacket. I decided to play at the same course on Thursday to pick up the jacket. When I checked in no one knew anything about it. Go figure I guess it fit a staff person. The course on Thursday morning along hole 1&2 Cranes Bend were next to the lake and lots of mosquitoes so be prepared. Greens and fairways were fast and good shape. Beware of the bird watchers I mean both days I golfed there were groups of 10 and 12 and not sure who has the right of way. Fun course to play and does not take long with several par 3 at 100-120 yards. Good practice for short game.
Fun
Right off 192 near Disney this is a 9 hole course with 6 par 3s and 3par 4s where you hit almost every club in your bag if you are an average golfer. We played here for about $15 (hot deal on GolfNow) and it was worth it. I believe it costs more at the regular rate and perhaps that is why it was empty. It is among a huge complex of condos an
D small lakes. There are also 2 other 9 hole courses we did not play here.
Conditions were fine, the greens were among the fastest that we have played in the area, and there are plenty of hazards including some alligators!
Dog track
Overpriced dog track. Tee boxes are uneven and chewed up. Greens are in bad shape. The aprons have debris we played with someone who had had a time share here since 2008. Said the course used to be much better. I wouldn't pay more that $20
First time I played this course.
I had a hard time finding this course because you can't just enter the address to a GPS. The course is short but challenging. Nice layout and well maintained. Good value.
This is an executive course so it is short - a couple longer holes and with a reasonable layout around the rental properties. Greens are difficult - fast and lots of slope. Fairways are generally dry and were tough for 2 of our party to hit off of. Water comes in to play on a number of holes. Course could be improved if fairways and tees boxes were upgraded.
Good place to get the rust off
This was perfect for my friends who hadn't played in 7 months! You can't beat the price.
Laid back Golf
This course is a good one to play especially if you haven't played in 3 months.
