Trump National Doral Miami - Great White Course

Amazing layout
Surprised at the greens however.
Not in the condition you'd expect for paying over $100 for a round

If your going to the Trump National Doral don't play the white course, it's the forgotten child!

At arrival everything seemed great until we went looking for the starter, not at his post. We asked several staff all had different suggestions were he could be.

We were given a score card and told pencils were at the starters station ( the one that had no one there), surprise no pencils....asked a passing employee if they new where to get one the answer: " back at the pro shop".

The course itself is OK not really worth the money, we thought the service would make up for it.....wrong! Didn't even see the beverage cart until the 13th hole.

Overall very disappointing , service was poor especially being a Trump course which leads you to believe that it's going to be something special.

This Great White course have a good Layout, some challenging holes with shots over water and the extra difficulty of lateral sandy waste areas, Trump Resort is very nice, my only comment is that they charge too much for a green fee for an average maintenance of greens, they were no fast, with important imperfections and some small weed growing! yes!

The layout of the course is very interesting with all the royal palms and waste bunkers but the holes are very close together so watch out for stray shots. I was very disappointed to see most of the greens and some tees with crab grass. On most of the greens the coverage of the crab grass was extensive. I would expect for the amount of money they charge that the conditions of the greens would be excellent. For that reason I can't rate this course any better than average.

I didn't mind the $109 green fee through GolfNow which was all this layout is worth. The issue is the area. Non stop airplanes and holes looking onto the back of industrial buildings and condos.
I thought as a resort course it would have better surroundings but it is in a busy and noisy spot. Planes are constantly flying over.
The rental fee of $100 for clubs is ridiculous.
Took 5 hours to play and never saw a marshall to speed things up once.
The clubhouse is spectacular and first class. The course is very good too and I would play again for $100 with my own clubs but it is not the relaxing resort experience you would think it would be.

Second time playing, last time it rained so we didn't get to finish every hole. Great layout, very nice conditions, fast greens. One complaint is the greens are at difficult angles when approaching from straight on the fairway, have never seen it so consistently done through 18 holes.

Compared to the other courses at Trump Doral this was a bargain. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The course condition was very good considering it will close in a couple of weeks. I played the Blue Monster last year and I don't think Great White was any less enjoyable

Play it soon as you can it's about to be closed and replaced with homes

Overall very good golf course, very good fairways and bunkers, greens were decent I thought they will be better being at a Trump resort, staff was amazing they make you feel at home.

Difficult golf course can't imagine playing with hard wind

The course is awesome although now is like let down by the management, it's not anymore in the same condition like the rest of Doral.
The staff is just OK, the Valet parking and clubs transfer is way too slow and it is always packed.
A little bit tricky to walk into the facilities, not easy at all to find the places like Pros-hop or the range.

While some of the holes do look similar, the course itself was in great condition. Greens were great, as were almost all the tee boxes. Good affordable alternative at Doral. FYI- no validation for valet parking($18).

This course sold to city of Doral For development, thus no investment to maintain. No bathrooms only porta johns. Only paid $77 to play, but hardly worth this much. Play another Trump course rather than this one.

This course rumored to be demolished in 4 months, shows it in the maintenance. The greens were thin with lots of weeds. fairways were decent. This was a $40 course at best. The $18 valet charge didn't help the attitude.

This was not a good experience. No starter, poor signage and the bathroom facilities are limited and difficult to locate with only one set of "satellites" on the entire course. Don,t waste your time or money on" the not so" Great White.

Super terrain au de gamme ,cependant beaucoup de construction immobilière en cours ,un terrain avec beaucoup de difficultés,allés étroites les verts rapides et protégés.Merci à Golfnow pour avoir payé un prix raisonnable.snowbird.

It was my first time playing the White Shark , Great course.
It will be missed when its gone next year. The work is Doral will be closing it next year.
I am so happy I got a chance to play it.

Bien que le layout soit fabuleux, il est tout à fait incompréhensible que les greens soient aussi affreux. Mauvaises herbes et trèfles sur tous les greens sans exception... même celui de pratique avant le trou # 1 Pour le prix, il y a beaucoup mieux en Floride...
