About
The Els Club at Dubai Sports City features an 18-hole golf course with an interesting links-style layout that incorporates traditions of classic design. The golf course is the first designed by Ernie Els in the Middle East. It is situated on softly undulating terrain, providing rolling fairways and sloped greens. Sand dunes and native desert vegetation sprinkled throughout offer a genuine feeling of playing golf in the desert. The Els Club at Dubai Sports City also provides plenty of challenges with steep greenside bunkers and grass swales. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of all skill levels and abilities, making the course a popular destination for advanced golfers as well as beginners.

Desert treat
We booked the Els some months ago
Can’t fault too much but for the money it’s right to have high expectations
They hit most.however the greens had been sanded and we’re not up to standard
They also don’t give you a bottle of water in the cart, which is very minor but really annoying
Also no one on first tee giving you course tips and local rules
Silly things but if you charge top dollar…..
Having said all this it’s a great track properly challenging but do bring your sand iron!!
Good design with friendly ataff
Great course with plenty of risk reward holes. Fast sloping greens. Uneven bunker conditions was disappointing.
Fun and Playable
Had a great time. It’s a beautiful course. I found the rental club price a little much at over $100 Canadian for Callaway Mavericks that were a few years old. That would be my only negative comment.
Superb
Fantastic course. Challenging with great bunkering and greens. Significant run off areas, miss the green and it’s tough to make par. Clubhouse facilities and restaurants are excellent. Staff are very attentive.
Great course but poor pace
Great Golf Club with friendly staff. A Marshall was missing - we waited on every tee past Tee 6
Worth The Play
The course was 10/10 however I could not call the pro shop as nobody would answer and the voice message said to call back each time which was frustrating as it was raining and I wanted a rain check. The pace of play was horrible with poor tee times given as they were too close together therefore everyone was putting pressure on the other group to play fast as per groups waiting. Not even time to practice a missed putt again!!!
Els Course
A fantastic experience playing in Dubai for the first time at the Els Course. The standards of this course, the facilities and hospitality were amazing. Would love to have another round but golf in Dubai isn’t cheap.
Excellent day out
This is an excellent experience from the welcome at the bag drop , the condition of an excellent golf course to the beers afterwards.
An opportunity not to miss out on when golfing in Dubai !
