Bolingbrook Golf Club

They charge a premium price at +$100 per round but yet you’re waiting 5-10 on every tee box, on every shot with no ranger in sight. The course is really nice, links style, and challenging but these prices and the pace of play just don’t add up.

Why in the world is this course as hot deals priced at $90-$130???? I played this course 100 times over the last few years. All hot deals in the $30 range. I couldn't care less about LIV being there. The area is wealthy, granted, but $100 hot deals at late tee times is criminal.

If you are paying thelis price you are a part of the problem regarding golfnow charging obscene increases on tee times.

CART PATH ONLY on a beautiful day because of LIV tournament. Should have been told that on their site but they DO NOT !

The rough was so thick and long it was unfair and cart path only created lost balls in rough even when I knew where my ball was at because the rough was so thick and tall.

My guess is they will be cutting the rough to even height for the tournament but right now it is a awful combo. of cart path only with crazy rough.

Played two weeks before LIV tourney.cart path only, not normal range, and not many people out. Rough was brutal deep and lush, if not would be too easy for the pros. Cart oath only sucked because I got stuck on wrong side of fairway with wrong club. Fun but tough due to the rough

Took a ride over to play Bolingbrook since I heard they were hosting the LIV GOLF Tour. Lets begin with the facts....

I've played pretty much everywhere in the Chicago area, all the top ranked public courses. This heathland style golf course is the absolute best bang for your buck. Designed by hall of fame architect Arthur Hills & Steve Forrest, the green complexes they have here are absolutely outstanding. Bolingbrook demands pinpoint accuracy off the tee and with your approach shots into the correct sections of the greens to score well putting a premium on course management.

The practice facility Bolingbrook GC has is enormous, and the 76,000 square foot clubhouse is absolutely beautiful. Quite simply put you cannot find a better public golf experience anywhere in Chicagoland! Bolingbrook Golf Club is golf at its finest in its purest form.

The staff asked us to move our tee time up ten minutes. We had to scrap using the putting green to warm-up. When asked why, we were told to keep the pace of play up. I did not see anyone tee off after us for some time.

Our golf cart stopped working around the 12th hole. We used the pad in the golf cart to notify the pro shop. A staff member came by and told us not to use the pad and call pro shop directly. He flipped a switch in the golf cart and said we are good. The cart was not good. It broke down (same hole) and we called the pro shop. The lady on the phone told us they could not get a hold of pro shop and said we should wait. We called the pro shop again, and they sent a very nice member of the staff to switch out the cart. We have a new cart after waiting for 30 minutes and talking with 3 staff members.

I gifted this a round of golf to a friend and the round did not meet expectations. No doubt the course is beautiful and plenty of resources available. After leaving, I felt like a number. I have been to other golf courses and received service that made me feel like they appreciate the business of their patrons. I almost always leave the course feeling good. This day I felt we were another task to be checked off a list.

If you are willing to pay 140, play anywhere else. So slow, no ranger and bad food. This course really is not where you want to be.

Highlands of Elgin, Prairie landing, Seven Bridges.

Good place to spend a few hour. I had the chicken salad. It was awesome 👌

Course in good condition and worth the drive from downtown but the slow pace is out of hand.

Thought the greens would be better,
Course was difficult due to windy conditions. But I have never played course when wasn't windy.. Those conditions take away from the course in my opinion.

….early season conditions. Tall grass immediately off fairways need a little attention…cut down a yard or two to about 6 inches to catch and find balls. that are otherwise lost, and only slow play down.

great golf course and facilities and great customer service, highly recommend.

Few golf courses in the Midwest can stay open year round and maintain the same play-ability in season and off. One would think Bolingbrook Golf Club in March shouldn't even be open if they want the course on great shape the rest of the year. Yet, it appears an investment has been made to keep the course playable year round. The course was in great shape. It was a great day of golf in March.

Great course and amenities. Only down fall was the wind was ~40 mph all day. Hard to get a good feel for the course when conditions are that bad. I will be back in the summer.
