Pines at Pompano Beach Golf Course

Hard to find a good lie on the course. Slow bumpy beat up green. The practice facility is a match to the course but if you try to practice all the bad lies the grumpy unfriendly cart barn manager becomes totally confrontational. $65 to play this piece of junk is a total rip off. The course is loaded and play is super slow. There are two courses having a competition to see which is worse. Total disappointment!!!!!

I've played the Palms course today, great little golf course, the layout is beautiful and the greens were in excellent condition but the fairways were ok and I give 3 stars espiecially because the grass around the greens was in a very very poor condition...

First time playing. Greens were terrific. Sand traps need new sand.

10mins shy off a 5 hour round of golf and I am not even a spectator this is right

Booked on GolfNow and booking said "includes cart", when I arrived at the course it was "walk only". I have a bad hip so walking a course is a no go for me. Someone either at the course or at Golfnow needs to update that info. And $45 for walk only is ridiculous. Hope this gets fixed so someone else can avoid the same issue.

When I got to the course, there was no option to get a cart. Which is what your site said I paid for. When I placed the reservation, it said Cart Included. Since there was only walking, then we did not play. Not happy that I had to pay the reservation fee for a round I did not play.

Don’t know why Golfnow hasn’t updated this since the employees say they’ve requested the update multiple times. Regardless the course was in excellent shape. Greens played a bit slow but were well kept. Pace of play was good for walking. Amazing deal for the price

We made a reservation for 4 players through Golf Now with 2 days ahead in this golf course with green tee and carts included,. We came from miami to play here and celebrate one of thr players birthday. To our suprise that the pro shop lady informed us that there are not carts available fornour tee time, and if we want our money back, I reply we came far away, and atvthisbpoint we can not play anywhere, how come there no carts for our reservation. She continue like nothing happen is not their fault is Golf Now website problems that they knew what is going on.in this golf course. So the blame golf now and took no responsability whatsoever Like this not new and is happenning often. This is Not acceptable, we ending playing walking with no carts and quitting after hole 9 due to long time and exhaustion. We would not coming back, and i like to know what is Gof Now going to do about this. ? Because they have no problem telling people is Golf Now problem. Very disappointed

We have played the coarse a few times in the past month. It is always walk only but it seems others can ride. Why?
I have a bad back and feet issues but walk. Today we were told not to refill out water because of water issues no
problem but both drink machines didn’t work and no cart offering to buy water on the Palms. May not go back was
not impressed. It’s a 6 mile walk which is fine but no water but in 80 plus degrees is crazy.

Played the Pines course; knew with late start time we might only get in 15-16 holes but we were totally surprised to be asked by the ranger to leave at 6 pm on the 12th hole. There was at least 30 min of daylight left and with the slow play we should have been allowed to play longer. For only 12 holes the value wasn’t there even tho course is in nice shape. Never heard of course closing before sunset.

The round was great. No slow downs , friendly ranger making sure everything was fine.
It’s a long walk but once a week it’s fine. Will go back.
