Stay and play package
We recently played two rounds and had two nights included with the stay and play package for 190 dollars. The course layout was great, people were super friendly and they have a nice bar and grill next to the clubhouse. I would have given this course a 5 star but the fairways and tee boxes weren't mowed on our visit. They stated they were letting them grow for spraying next week. The fairway grass was longer than an intermediate cut of rough on most courses. With that said I would come and play/stay again. Of note the bar and grill doesn't open until 4PM so no breakfast and lunch available.
Great course near Makers Mark
Beautiful country golf course. Mostly open with plenty of elevation changes.
Nice course in central Ky
Fairly new course; therefore, few trees and wide open. Well maintained. Greens in super shape. I love playing here.
my favorite course in ky
great layout beautiful golf course greens are excellent and fairways in great shape. I have played this course twice in the past week great value for the price can't beat it.
Best course in 75 mile radius for the money
The course is in great shape
Friendly staff
Can't beat the price
Defiantly recommend to anyone
Nice course
The course had several challenging holes. It was well maintained. It was a pleasure to play.
Great conditions, challenging greens
Nice conditions. Greens were fast, sand was well kept, and price was ridiculous. $12 for 18 with a cart on a weekend. It was a cloudy day and rain was in the area, but it didn't rain while I was playing.
The greens are deceptively difficult. They appear relatively flat and unguarded from distance. But they have multiple swales, some of which feed the ball off the green into closely mown collection areas. A variety of shots were needed around the greens, and putting was difficult unless you were near the hole.
I don't like that the course ends on four straight par 4s, and has back to back par 5s on the back (12 and 13) sandwiched between par 3s (11 and 14). For the great conditions and the even greater price, I think I can forget about those oddities.
Great course
Beautiful course with rolling hills and very well maintained greens.
Great Facility, Really Awesome Design
This place will just get better as time goes on. When the trees get larger, this place will probably be to more than I can handle. Its challenging enough how it is now. The greens are awesome and stuff happening everywhere on them. Fairways are lush, a tad bumpy in places, but as good as Ive played all year. It has some really long holes. The water features are top notch. Pretty open on 75% of the holes. Great place, I wish I lived closer, I would play weekly.
Course looks great and a pleasure to play.
The course looks good and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and cooperative in all ways. I would recconmend this track to anyone who loves to play.
Beautiful greens
Nicest greens in the area, true roll and subtle undulations. Some holes require knowledge of course to position tee shots. Excellent value for the money, overall a very nice course
This course has great features
Couple of the fairways has some dead spots, but overall this course is well maintained.
Great experience
Excellent course. Friendly staff and well maintained course. Very challenging holes.
Nice course
GolfNow worked perfectly and without a hitch! The course was in good shape and we hade a great day! Thanks GolfNow and Rosewood.
Nice course
I want to call this a "hidden jewel", but it's really not all that hidden...or maybe it is. It sure doesn't get talked about much around my area and I only live about an hour or so from the course. Why more people don't seem know about it I don't know, I guess they are too busy talking more about better known courses in the Lexington or Louisville area, but the place is as good as almost any of the course in those areas.
The course is well maintained and a decent design. For a course that plays about 6'700 from the blues which are one up from the tips, it seems to play shorter than that and I find myself using less than driver on several holes, and I'm not a long hitter. Not that you couldn't use driver on those holes, but playing for position might be the smarter play and is for me. A couple of holes I don't car for, #10 probably being the one I dislike the most, but hey I probably wouldn't like every hole at Augusta National either so that's not unusual. I like most of the par 3's as a group, decent mix without being overly long except for #8 which is over 200 yards, which as a rule I don't think should exist on any golf course. #2 is a tough par 4 with a very tough option of tee shot that makes you think. #1 is a long but manageable par 5 and you can get your round started of in the right direction.
I highly recommend to play this course if you get the chance.
Rosewood Golf Course - Lebanon KY
The course was in very good shape and the greens were very fast. Even though they were fast they rolled true. I would recommend this course to anyone. It has some very interesting holes, like #2 where you have a blind tee shot to an uphill dogleg fairway. You have to play it once to know what clubs to hit on some of the holes, but it is an interesting course.
best greens ive played this year but not easy
This course is coming along nicely bermuda about 2 to 3 weeks from being full. Dont miss it if you get a chance to play. Its worth the drive. Greens are as tough as any PGA green except Augusta. And they roll very true. Be sure to look @ holes 2, 10, 13 before hitting any shots they are tricky if you havent played here.
Rosewood
Beautiful course. They have done a lot of work to it and it shows. Highly recommended for the money. Especially in comparison to other area courses.
great course
Played it in late february temps.in high 40s fairways was brown but no bare spots. Easy to hit off of. Greens from a distance looked rough but when you got up on them they was in great shape. This course is challengeing I love playing here. In the spring and summer and fall before fairways turn brown its is always in pristine condition. Well worth the drive from louisville.
Best kept secret place to play in central Ky
Even at this time of the year, course was in great shape, greens and fairways. Had the course to ourselves, only a few other groups out and it was nice.
