Seminole Lake Country Club

About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Much improved
I have played Seminole Lakes for a number of years now. It was in the best condition I have ever seen it in. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, but the condition of the course is so much better than it used to be to be I am very impressed with the improvement in condition. The condition had really deteriorated over a several year period. It had gotten so bad I stopped playing it. I had heard they replaced the greens so I tried it last year and it was better, but now everything is better greens, fairways, and tees. It is well worth playing.
Would play again
Round was a little slow but not the courses fault. Greens in pretty good shape, maybe a little slower than what I'm used to, but still good. Left several balls in the ponds lol
Getting Better All The Time
SLCC is always in good shape. The beautiful new greens still need another season to go from GOOD, to EXCELLENT. A few are still hard due to the new turf, but they roll true for all 18. Just figure your yardages to land on the front half of the green! They WILL release when you land the ball.
Nice track
Fun course to play. Very wide open and forgiving off the tee. Greens didn’t roll great, lots of bumps but were in nice shape. Unfortunately a two some in front of us were holding everyone up. Sometimes 3 groups on one hole and no ranger doing anything about it. They weren’t even beginners, just extremely ignorant and lacked etiquette. One player teeing off while the other sat in the cart, leg crossed. Then slowly got up, pulled out their glove to put on and took forever. Then they’d drop multiple balls and be back tracking in their cart numerous times. Ruined a great day.
Seminole Lakes Golf
As a result of the heavy rains yesterday, the course was very wet. Not really a problem, but the range was closed.
However, the golf was fun and challenging. The course is excellent condition, especially the greens and fairways.
Terrific place to play. I highly recommend this course.
Excellent conditions and consistent greens made for a great round. We were told the greens were fast. They were terrific, but not fast. We could get lots of great shots here.
Enjoyable Course
The course layout is very fair and was in great shape. I would play it again.
Nice layout
Wide fairways with fast greens makes a great round of golf. Was hard to adjust to very firm greens. Roll out was longer than expected. Hitting pin high finished at the back of the green multiple times.
