Disappointed
We arrived for 12:00 tee-time at 11:30 so we could just putt a little before the round. At 11:49 we approached the first tee-box and there was no starter, which resulted in everyone around the tee-box not knowing who had what tee-time. A group of three or four teed-off, then a single, then our group of four which was just supposed to be two but we ended up playing with two other people who mentioned that their tee-time was also 12:00. A starter would have been very helpful and I am not sure why you schedule a single between a group of three and four. The course was in average condition, tee-boxes not so great, fairways average for this time of year and the greens were good. For some reason not obvious to anyone in our group, it was cart path only on a few holes, but there was no sign of wetness or standing water in the fairways. The only fairway where there was standing water was not cart path only. In addition, the carts locked-up when you entered a “restricted area,” but it was not obvious where these areas were, there wasn’t any warning and the entrance to and from fairways and the location of the restricted areas was not consistent - very confusing and frustrating. I do not recommend playing this course due to inconveniences to the paying customers.
Great Track
Really fun course...quick greens and lots of elevation. pre/early season so the bermuda hasn't come in yet so all's dormant and not ideal. Excited to play in 6 weeks or so.
Nice Day...For Turtles
I booked my reservation on GolfNow. $40 due at the course. The young man in the pro shop charged me $60. Strike One. I showed up at the tee box early. There was a bit of a back-up, but the starter was doing his best to keep people moving. Two gentlemen, part of the foursome in front of me, showed up late and then asked to be allowed to play separate. The starter kindly told them, "no," and allowed them to catch up with their group. Unfortunately, after the first hole (out of the starter's sight), the aforementioned twosome decided to splinter from their foursome. The pace of play slowed significantly. We waited on every tee box. To make matters worse, these gentlemen decided to play from the tips, and let's just say they were playing from the wrong set of tees. Strike Two. The course was in good shape for late March. The greens were fast (love it!). A roving marshal might have changed the pace of play.
Great layout , lots of elevation and a good test of golf
Early in the season so the fairways were pretty bare. I’d assume mid season provides better iron play outta the fairways … fast greens
Course was in ok, shape. Greens were not very great. Unrepaired ball.marks and fertilizer all over the greens
They are putting new sand in the bunkers. The golfnow price was $20 cheaper than what the course wanted charge but the course honored the golfnow price. I defenently would not pay $60 to play this course during the week.
Driving range was closed. They said itt is closed every Wednesday. That was disappointing.
They have new carts that are nice but very sensitive. They cut-off on us multiple times in the fairway amd on the cart path. All in all, I don't think we will be back.
Nice day playing alone
Some very challenging holes, and wide open fairways.
It was a very nice day!
First time playing here
We were cart path on for 10 holes so that slowed us down a little. Greens were in very good condition and most traps were playable despite the course being a little wet from recent snow & rain. My first time to play Eagle Ridge. Will be back to play it in the summer. Yes, I recommend this course for everyone. I did think the holes #17 & 18 made for a challenging finish. But I enjoyed that!
