High Point Golf Club

I was very impressed by this golf course. The staff members were very friendly. The lady even offered mr and my son ice water because we were walking ON A VERY HOT DAY. The heat must have scared people away because we basically had the course to ourselves. Course was in really good shape. The fairways trimmed and taken care of. The greens were in excellent condition. I’m no golf course snob, but I will say that a little more love should be devoted to the bunkers. The layout was great. Perfect length for a golfer of my level. Just long enough in spots but not absurd. I can’t believe I live just down the road in Channahon and I just played. I will be back. The price was great as well. Two walkers for 30 bucks! I’m good with that. Great golfing experience !

The course was fine but the bunkers were terrible. No takes anywhere.

Very basic course at an affordable rate. People are always allowing you to pass if you’re at a faster pace. Very well manicured but the sand traps could use better sand.

Over all not to bad, but the bunkers need work. They played more like a mix of the ruff and concert.

High Point golf course is a hidden gem. The greens are some of the best anywhere. Fairways we in very good shape, but sand traps need a lot of work. They were adding sand to a few of the traps today, but they need a lot more.

This is a $15 AT MOST course. It was $25 for 9 assumed the cart was included and that was 100% my fault. For cart and 9 holes it was $45. I will never pay that for a 9 HOLE COURSE THAT WAS IN AWFUL CONDITION. save your money and go somewhere else.

The pace of play was slow. The group in front of us did not keep pace with the 6-person group in front of them, and we had 3 groups behind us that were also caught in the slow play. I don't think it should take 2 hours and 45 minutes to play 9 holes riding, maybe I'm wrong.

Glad to see they finally put some sand in the sandboxes.

I payed 25 dollars for this course. I played 9 holes with a cart and you need an id and to be over 18 to golf with a cart. Not to mention they keep it the whole round. Traps are Rock hard and filled with grass. Teeboxes and fairways are Ok.

They took my I.D for the golf cart but want if i get pulled over on the course?? don’t make no sense to me hoe

Happy to see they FINALLY add some sand to a few of the sand traps.

Decent Course. Only criticism is the sand traps need some fresh sand.
