Swanson Meadows Golf Course

Expensive, slow pace, rushed us off at the end because of an event.

The staff and the amenities are outstanding. The course was fun but needs work especially on the greens. It appears the greens have either been neglected or the unusual heat and rain has had a rough effect on them.
We had fun and would go back if we hear any good news on the conditions.

I rarely leave reviews and the people working here were super nice but the greens are in just such a bad shape. It’s not like a real round of golf. I wouldn’t go back.

Not only is this by far the worst course I've played all year, but Swanson Meadows might be the worst course I've ever played in my life.

We spent more time waiting on the gravel tee boxes than we did playing golf. After spending 45 minutes getting through two holes, I called the pro shop to see if we could get reimbursed if we left. They told me they could give me a rain check, but I never want to come back so we continued on...

There was no difference from the fairway to the greens. Each green had craters throughout and weeds growing on every inch. It was almost impossible to putt, as you never knew where the ball would end up when rolling through the thick, unmanicured grass.

The bunkers and fairways were indistinguishable. Some bunkers had more grass and weeds growing than the fairway/greens. It was almost comical. The fairways were completely bare, with dirt patches throughout each hole. The rough was just thick crabgrass and weeds...

We paid $25/pp for 9 holes, walking. For the same price, you could go up the road to Trull Brook and play somewhere that actually resembles a real golf course.

I could continue on, but I will let the posted photos do the talking... We absolutely will never be back, and I caution everyone before making a tee time at Swanson Meadows. Good luck

Great course that is good for beginners. Slight challenges and different distances keep you honest.

This is a short but fun course to play 9 on. I have been here twice this year and the greens are still very bad, if they put some work into the greens I would play here more often during the week

Nice nine hole course piece of clay was a little slow, but it was a busy Sunday I get that, but definitely on the higher end of the price scale for a average nine hole course

Nice layout for just starting out. Groups are friendly and don’t mind beginners, but you never seem to have to wait in the tee.

Greens are in pretty rough shape for early season. Putts bouncing left and right. Still a good time and great course for a round after work!

Very expensive for the course condition. Teed off 20 minutes after our scheduled tee time. Back up at every holes, and the bunkers were all filled with grass. Greens and tee boxes in poor shape.

Was in the area on business and hit the course early, 645am early, and was the second person on but greeted very well.

Enjoyed the course which was short (Play the blues) but challenging enough. Fairways are nice and wide and the oar 3 are amazing, especially Hole 7.

If I'm around again I'd definitely play here.
