DONT DO IT!!!
I first golfed the hamptons about 8 or 10 yrs ago. They had great maintenance staff that understood golf. The clubhouse staff understood golf. The starter understood golf . Well,, not anymore. I would say within the last two yrs this place has completely changed. It is apparent when you enter the parking lot now . This is a hokey place now isn’t it? Kinda feeling. from the pro shop staff To the maintenance staff The experience was sorely lacking. New ownership has no clue . Who’s hording the money from the Windmill Group?? It’s not the courses and that’s apparent.
The course challenges for all levels
The course had a couple holes that were under construction but was playable. The staff were friendly from the proshop to the dining staff. Nice to ride in electric carts vs gas. Food was enjoyable.
Course is taking shape..
A few of the hokes are under construction yet the grounds are being well maintained by the crew. It's a scenic course and offers a challenge for all skill levels. The staff is friendly all around. And the beautiful clubhouse has a nice deck to overlook the aquatic driving range and the food is quite good.
