Golf course
I found the course great,a little wet but it had rained for about a week before,,but most of all it was great ,” thanks “
Love this course. Overall for this time of year the course I’d in pretty good shape except for some of the sand traps. But it is winter!

Great layout, winter conditions
Hadn't played here in about 5 years and forgot how great the course layout is with some fantastic golf holes. Course is in winter condition (a soft slog walk) with the sand traps mostly out of play. Greens had been punched awhile back and not quite back to par yet. A superb price with Golf Now.
Upon arrival they said the course was closed for probably the entire day. The reason they closed was because of heavy frost , so unfortunately we were unable to play.
Crown Isle is an enjoyable course.
Crown Isle is an enjoyable course. Our only concern was the shotgun start because of the frost delay. Had we known how far we had to walk to get to our tee off we would have parked our vehicles nearby. The walk to our tee off and then back from our last hole was like doing two rounds. Otherwise all good
Very picturesque.
Nice course but the course didn't mention the greens had been punched and had a fair amount of sand on them.
Sand traps are deplorable with many rocks/pebbles that could damage your clubs!
Bring lots of $$$$
The powercart charge was $50.00 plus taxes. Was told it's that price everywhere. Not true at all. $35.00 to $40.00 for a powercart everywhere else.
The course was in alright shape, but the bunkers are the worst on vancouver island. Full of rocks and some with hardly any sand at all. So very disappointing as for what we payed to play a so called championship course. The owner should go play some other courses and just see what is available to the public.
Heard the owner is not that well liked really anywhere.
Too bad as we won't be back .
Crown isle
A poor value for the $$$$ spent. Bunkers were unplayable, full of rocks and very little sand. Greens were all right but not great. Maybe they have changed greens keepers, but not what it was like before. So sad that it took 4hrs 53 minutes to play. Too slow of a round. 1 group holding everyone up. That's all it takes.
Slow Play
An immensely frustrating day of slow play
Teed off at 1:40 and at 6:15 we were still waiting to tee off on 16th hole. Brutal!!
We gave up then and called it quits. Would have been a 5 and a half hour round of golf to finish to 18.
Never saw a Marshall and for the price it isn’t worth it.
Crown isle
Pace of play very slow.
Course in great condition..
With GolfNow it’s affordable without I could not afford to play here
Greens are in nice condition
Couse should offer discounted green fees more often. I hear that often from many other players in the Comox Valley.
Beautiful Golf Course
Always enjoy playing this well run and maintained golf course. The group ahead of us fell a few holes behind. This led to waits for us at each hole.
Still, we enjoyed our round. Very nice course.
Slow Slow Slow
We teed off at 130 pm and didn't finish until after 630. Fortunately, our reservation for dinner in the clubhouse was held for us.
For a course of this caliber and price one would expect to see a player's assistant to keep the pace moving. At the par 3's when we arrived there was two groups waiting to tee off and one group on the green. The par 4's were not much better.
