Play Where Pros Live
Great experience to play where several PGA tour pros reside. The course is magnificent with several tee box options. a challenging but fair course that I highly recommend you take an invite if you are lucky enough to get one.
If it's good enough for the pros...
Isleworth has long been more a symbol of PGA Tour prestige than a "real" golf course to most. Getting to play the course as a guest is like stepping into a fantasy world of massive houses, lush fairways and general opulence. There's a giant sculpture of a bull on the shared 1st and 10th tees, for goodness' sakes!
The course follows suit on the community - big and powerful but ultimately enjoyable. The Steve Smyers redo of an Arnold Palmer original has some of the biggest bunkers you'll see anywhere, and the slick greens can embarrass you if you find yourself on the wrong side of the hole. But there are chances to score if you can string consecutive quality shots together, just like the pros who call the course home strive to every week on the PGA Tour.
Simply Amazing
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to play Isleworth and jumped at the chance. The practice facilities are spectacular and the course was fantastic.
The course can be extremely difficult if you find yourself in the wrong locations so listen to your caddie. Our caddie had tips that saved your round from disaster...because disaster can lurk around every corner here. Being shortsided can result in an immediate double bogey or worse, so use your caddie.
Having lunch afterwards allowed us to see the clubhouse and soak in the history. You never know what tour pro you'll see sitting there having lunch.
All in all, if you have the chance, play this gem!
Awesome
Your short game better be brilliant when you play this beast.. All greens elevated and shaved.. Staff was amazing.. A must play. Men's grill an incredible hang
Great, but difficult track
This place is obviously fantastic. If it wasn't, so many touring professionals wouldn't like there like they do. It lives up to its billing in every sense.
But, and there's always a but, it's extremely difficult, especially around the greens. You can't be short of the hole, because there are false fronts. You can't be long because then you'll have an impossible chip or putt back down toward the hole. Your only real option to score is to hit the ball pin-high on every hole, and my game just isn't good enough to accomplish that 18 times. Five or six times, yes...18, no chance.
Still, it's a place that you can't pass up and it never disappoints. Always in immaculate condition.
What a treat
If you have the opportunity to play this course you will not be disappointed. The course is kept in great shape and the clubhouse is beautiful. This is one of the best golf couses in Central Florida.
What a course!
If you are lucky enough to be invited to play Isleworth, accept it at all costs. A tremendous course in a spectacular setting. Greens are second to none; great range, and tight lies in the fairway. Can take big numbers if you let the visuals affect you. A real treat to play
An Orlando Staple
As one of the most prestigious courses in the Central Florida region, this course is a must when visiting the area or looking from something better than an ordinary golf course.
A Great Treat
One of Orlando's finest. If you have the opportunity, this is a must play. Very challenging green complexes and can play long depending on the tees. Clear to see why many of Orlando's PGA TOUR professionals call it home. Great track. Members and Guest only.
