Sand Point golf course was in terrible condition!!
Having played this course many times when it was called The Arnprior Golf course it has sadly gone down hill! It was burned out and the tees were like concrete as were most of the fairways. If you offered it back to the cows I doubt they would take it. A waste of money playing there!
Average Course
Not a bad course. Nice layout and was in decent shape. Tee boxes were average fairly leveled. Greens were just aerated so were slow and lots of sand on them (not reflected in my ratting) . Fairways were well maintained and green. Has some nice views of the river and scenic with all the leaves turning for fall. Overall fairly easy course for a reasonable price, would recommend and would go back.
good value
Great value for the money. Played at 0700 and finished in 3 hours
Interesting course
Overall, the course was in good condition. Couple of greens needed some work but other than that it's a great course.
Fair ways and greens are in good shape.
Would definitely go back for the golf. Restaurant leaves you hungry with an empty wallet.
Beautiful Course
We were greeted warmly in the ProShop by Ryan who said he would get us teed off earlier than our scheduled time as we had arrived early. That was greatly appreciated!! The course is in great shape and the mature trees and view of the river is a delight to the eye.
Pace of play was good and we played in under 4.5 hours. We were sorry to hear that they are no longer going to be on GolfNow.
Nice condition
The course is in beautiful shape, a couple of the greens had winter kill but the pin positions were set so this did not affect putting.
Nice layout and a good challenge.
Nice new restaurant with excellent food and service.
Brand new gas powered carts.
New ownership is moving the course in the right direction.
Well maintained
Considering the weather condition the course was in excellent condition -the greens were fast and the fairways well maintained
Course is in Great Condition - View of the Ottawa River
Excellent value for the money. Many new clubhouse and course improvements taking place with new management. Friendly, relaxed staff and pace of play.
Recommended but not on weekends
Course in average condition.
Overall layout is good and some challenging holes.
Biggest issue is pace of play. Weekends very slow (6 hour s for 18 holes). Generally plays slow regardless. Instead of having groups join up in 4 golfers, I saw may golfers go out with only 2 golfers. Slows the pace of play.
Facilities being renovated.
Awesome greens and fairways
True quick greens and luscious fairways!
If you haven't played this course yet, I highly recommend it!
beautiful course
Too much poison ivy!!? It's everywhere.
Rough needs to be cut.
Sunday 17 May
Fairways in great condition, a couple of greens on back nine a liitle ugly, but overall very fast and good condition for this early in the season.
New owners
The back nine is now the front nine so the GPS was confusing as the signs were not changed yet. The pace was slow due to golfers starting at the wrong nine. This should have been looked after by a Marshall. I am sure this will be rectified when the course is busier. Would definitely play again
Very nice
Great spring conditions, getting greener every day, great value and a short drive from the west end of Ottawa, a real little gem
Great Day for the first golf of the year!
I was so impressed by the greens conditions of the course! Great service and excellent weather! The changing of the hole numbers to begin the round on the back nine and finish with the front is a good idea! I even got to see a bunch of turkeys! (actual animal ones!)
Overall good experience!
Uniform course
While being relatively flat, the design presents some attractive hole layouts. Par 3s are interesting. The greens were in superb condition.
A pleasant stroll!
Enjoyable.
Friendly staff, (Jason I believe), course in good condition, rode but could easily have walked, pace of play was good on a crowded course. A mix of green fee players and members.
Good value
Arnprior awesome! .
Course well layed out wuth spectacular vuews of the river.
Armprio Golf Course
We played the Armprior course 4 or 5 years ago and were not impressed at that time. Over the past 5 years the course has been groomed and improved to the point it is a gem in the Ottawa Valley. We will definitely play more rounds here in the coming years, and would recommend that golfers in the Ottawa Valley experience the beautifull views the Armprior course offers of the Ottawa River.
