Glen Abbey Golf Club

It's a good course and was in excellent condition. I got lucky and found a cheap rate on golfnow because it was the last day of the season for the course.

I would never pay full price to play here. It's way.... over priced...

Otherwise, it is a beautiful course and was lots of fun to play.

We were delayed by slow pace and could not finish. It then rained to top it off when we should have been finished. No Marshall seen. Club house closed with no warning and there were still people behind us. Could not even go in to washroom and wait out the rain
Not what I expected to pay for.

I’ve played The Abbey and have also marshalled when the Canadian Open had been held there. I worked the Signature Hole#11 and it is a spectacular hole making the golfer hit down into the valley for the first time.

The staff were very nice and our foursome had a great time. The only reservation we had was that due to the lateness in the Autumn season, the driving range was closed as well as the on-site restaurant (not the clubhouse restaurant). Still, the clubhouse restaurant staff were very nice and welcoming.

Course was in excellent shape and playing tough given the strong winds(25+ mph). So much fun. Also, incredibly warm (71F).

What can i say about this course other than its amazing to play where some of the worlds greats have played here course is always in great condition staff is amazing the views are spectacular and i had the pleasure of playing here for $79. plus tax how can i go wrong

No driving range . Not sure if it was stated on web site . Always nice to hit a few before u start .

Great course. Front nine was nothing special, but back nine was magnificent. Unfortunately, we played the last 3 holes in near complete darkness because of the pace of play. The round took more than 5 hours, and there was no marshall all day. The group 2 in front of us held up the day. Would have been a very enjoyable day if the course hired a Marshall.

I would have rated all 5 stars except the greens were healing from aeration.

I stepped out of my vehicle , I was greeted with a big hello . After enjoying my game of golf, walked into the clubhouse for a lunch , was seated quickly and had a fabulous meal with good service .

Finally had a chance to play this course after watching the open play here over the years. Enjoyed every stroke, yes even the extra ones. Course was in great shape, greens were true and fast and the course layout was challenging. Enjoyed it more than TPC Toronto. Staff in the club house were attentive and courteous. Well recommended.

I played glen abbey now 3x, i think for the price you pay the condition is not that good. Especially when i look on the weekend it would cost 200-250cad which i think there are way better courses around for that amount.
The course just keeps not up anymore like 3-4 years ago. Back then the condition was perfect and worth to play/pay.
