Didnt think it could get worse.
Didnt have high expectations as this course has been going down hill for years now. That being said, rather surprised that it was worse than I was expecting. Greens were horrible and fairways had lumps of grass like a hay field. Only good thing about this round was that nobody was out there so we didnt have to wait on any holes.
Great Spot For A Cheap Round
Greens are in terrible shape. Slow play. Great deal for $20.00 with a cart. Wouldn't pay full price.
Good course
Good course with good layout. I'd say overall a good average course with friendly staff. Great deals with the hot deals that include cart!
very easy, not a difficult layout
would not go back, carts are poor condition. My golf bag fell of the cart 3 times
Best bang for buck around
Good course, decently maintained and friendly staff
Good day
Booked last minute and enjoyed a simple round with cart. Nine hole course was OK. Some areas could use maintenance but course is prone to flooding so that could have been a factor getting equipment out.
Great deal
$21 for 18 and cart. 9 hole course so went around twice. Nicely laid out with most of the fairways being forgiving and I needed that on a few holes. Will definitely play this one again.
Great Value for the Money
Enjoyed playing this 9 hole 2X under 4 hours. The greens are large and for the most part in decent shape with spotty patches on some.
Inexpensive round with quick pace
Some of the greens were in rough shape. A couple of fairways were very wet, but apparently there was flooding from heavy rains a few days earlier so that was understandable. I played by myself and paid $23 for 18 holes that I finished in three hours on a Saturday afternoon, so the price and pace were definitely right. With improvements to the greens this could be a better course, but it's still okay for a cheap and cheerful round.
9 Hole course
Played the 9 holes twice from different tee blocks. Overall condition of the course was fair with some of the greens having no grass patches but still very playable. Great deal of only $15 for 18 holes including the cart and taxes in. Wide forgiving fairways and shorter holes made it easy to score well.
Good score
Had not been out for while and this course amkes you feel like. Good player. For a 9 hole course lots of challenge. Perhaps some arrows to direct golf traffic on hole 6 to 7 would be good for
First time players. Greens pretty good for such a dry summer.
good value with golfnow
The staff let us tee off early had good round shot even par, had lunch here after
Damaged greens
The greens have a lot of damage still from the winter, or some bug. They were working at repairing them the day we were there. Hopefully in a few weeks, with some TLC, they will be back to there usual condition, which are very good.
Great Price - Needs work though
Cost was very low and I was happy because if I paid $25 to play this course I would've asked for my $$ back - I only paid $10 so you get what you pay for. Staff was very friendly, still early in the year and weather has not been great, so course needs some work. Even though grass was just cut, it was still too long and finding balls off the fairway was a struggle. Maybe a month from now will help things look better.
Great value
Played this course twice this year. I was looking for a relatively short easy course to play with a novice "non-golfer" the first time when I found this course on golfnow. Saw it listed at 18 holes for $10 (cart included). This was perfect and the course was a good layout for my partner. The deal was so good that I came back a few weeks later with a friend. We played the back tees and had a great day. We flew around the front nine and got slowed down on the second nine by some slower twosomes in front of us. Lots of twosomes and singles on the course. There was no beverage cart out there on either day I played. Overall this course is the best value for the money that I ever played. Unbelievable - where can you play 18 holes with a cart for 10 bucks. You can't even get a bucket of balls at the range for that price. Worth the drive to Woodstock from Kitchener.
