Good course for price
The course was in good shape for late September. Only problem was we ran into a slow company outing that made our round over 5 hours long.
Decent course with some water damage and outdoor lawn bowling
Decent course with lots of water and some trees and bunkers here and there.
Some water damage due to flooding. The tee boxes on hole #14 had to be moved so far up because of water damage on the fairway it was temporarily reduced from a par 4 to a par 3.
Decent layout, although I'm not sure I love having back-to-back par 5s on each 9 (holes #2 & #3 and #15 & #16).
Some holes were a little tight, requiring a some accuracy.
Rough was long and thick at times.
Greens were cut a little long and on the slow side and typically didn't break much, if at all; easiest part of the course, in my opinion.
Fairways were also cut on the long side.
Bunkers were in about as bad of shape as I've seen bunkers get; some sand traps felt more like gravel traps.
The shape of the grass on the driving range was a little disappointing.
They also had a great outdoor lawn bowling area with plenty of lanes, tables with umbrellas, and chairs (drinking is allowed and can be purchased inside). I would highly recommend it for those interested in lawn bowling, especially for social events or family get togethers.
Better than the best
Ben and his staff are the best, very good course for the money. The greens are always in good shape, and it's is well maintained. Brookview has a lot of water holes, so you may lose a few golf balls, so be sure to purchase some in the pro shop before you tee off.
The golf carts are always clean. The driving range does not allow drivers, but has target greens to practice your other 13 clubs.
The new patio overlooking the 9th hole is by far the best improvement they have added to the course.
If your ever thinking of joining a men's or women's golf league, this is the best one to join. All the people here are great!!
Due to weather
Love play and the course has several damages due to flood and trees damage and lost some of holes. Hope they will fix ASAP for me to play again soon
Great course for the price. Will come back agian.
Staff is super friendly and course is well manicured. I played the Par 3 course. There are water features that makes it fun and really enjoyed the views. Greens are predictable on there breaks.
If you have not been here give it a try!
Course has been fixed and is in great condition. The storms of the spring of 2014 damaged a lot of courses in the twin city area, so they have fixed the above issues.
