About
The Club at Frisco Carms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Carms's par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

Pretty good
Greens were very slow, but overall the course is in pretty good shape. I certainly can’t blame any of my poor play on the course conditions.
Great day of Golf
I had a great Easter Sunday of golf great course with wide open fairways. Has a couple of holes where you have to lay up of the tee. It provides a challenge to all level golfers.
Course condition
For 79 I would expect better course conditions greens half dead putting on dirt fairways large dead spots spending a ton on the club house which is good but u need to start spending on the course
No exaggeration, the worst I've ever played
Easily, without any doubt, the worst course I've ever played in my life. To call it a golf course is very generous. It's more like an winding greenbelt very tightly cut into a questionable neighborhood with tee boxes and greens roughly cut out to get people to pay money to hit a golf ball around.
The "club house" is a single wide trailer. The amenities are completely absent, save for a beverage cart that finally found us on the 8th hole. The water jugs on course were empty and didn't have any paper cups stocked.
As for the course conditions, I suspect that the fairways could be swapped out for literal concrete and no one would notice. The greens range from fast as putting on glass to so soggy that you need a shovel to get your ball to the pin.
There's water on almost every hole, and it's the kind of water that hasn't been cared for since the Clinton Administration. I'm certain there's a 50/50 chance if you put your hand in the water, you'll collect a disease of some sort.
As for the course layout, it's so carelessly designed that it appears to be someone playing a joke on you.
On one hole, you literally have to walk through a runoff drainage ditch to get to the green. On hole 15 or 16, there's a full set of power lines that run the full length of the hole and completely infringe on the flight path of the tee shot.
On holes 10 and 18, you have to drive across a pond spillway on bare concrete. No bridge. No railing. Just naked concrete and your golf cart. Buckle up!
My buddy played here a few weeks ago, and suggested we play because he was secretly looking forward to hearing me complain and makes jokes about how horrible the course is for 3.5 hours.
He had a lot more fun laughing at my reactions than I had playing this offensively bad course.
I hear they're under new ownership, so many they can possibly make improvements in the future. But, they can't change the vibe of being tucked way too tightly inside of a run down, ratchety neighborhood where 40% of the homes can't even be bothered to mow their backyard grass.

Clubhouse closed for remodel, going on over a year now. Driving range closed when we got there. Open when we finished. No concessions
Winter time but course needs some attention.
We got a got deal or we wouldn’t play there. Friendly staff and drink cart girl.

Overpriced IMO.
3/5 for sure. Not worth the price in my opinion. I probably wouldn't play here again unless I had to.
